Dr. Laurie Jean Peters, MD

I have to say Dr. Peters is very compassionate and knows what she is doing. I feel very fortunate to have her as my doctor.

Excellent with finding the right medication for my condition. Have had to change a few times, each time she gets the perfect combination to work for me.

I have been seeing Dr. Peters for awhile now and she does her best to try and find the right solutions to my ailments. But I find her intimidating and a bit cold and not quite as compassionate as I would expect from a psych doctor. I sometimes feel like a guinea pig trying tons of different meds and nothing works, but she still keeps trying at least.

I have been a patient of dr. Peters for a long time and feel that she has greatly improved my quality of life. First of all, she is very smart, an MD who has been committed to diagnosing my problems and finding the best treatment. She keeps up to date on the latest findings in medications and the research in brain biology. Besides this , I personally find her a warm and calming influence, compassionate and supportive. I think dr. Peters works closely with her assistants and chooses and trains them well. They're all warm, pleasant, helpful.

Dr. Peters is extremely intelligent, relatable, and straightforward. Within a very short time, my perspective changed from hopeless to joyous. Thanks, Doctor.

I have had wonderful success with Dr Peters. However, her receptionist/ clinical assistant Amanda can be cold and often hard to deal with. I have been seeing her for years and I always felt very welcome with her previous person, Sandy. Mental health workers should really be warm and considerate, and the employers certainly should consider this when hiring them. Dr Peters appears cold at first but is very helpful and really wants to get the diagnosis correct and the meds correct.

I have been in her practice long enough to have detailed information about Dr. Peters. She is a no nonsense provider, will not allow a person to develop drug seeking behavior and gives information as to many additional resources to assist in one's over all treatment and health.
