Dr. Lawrence Michael Bruksch, MD

I had an exceptional experience at Dr Bruksch’s office. From the moment I called and spoke with Faye, I was impressed by her level of care and helpfulness. She’s warm, kind, and a true pleasure to work with. At my first appointment, things only got better – the office nurse, Yvette, is an absolute gem and made me feel right at home. Meeting Dr. Bruksch was a wonderful experience; he's not only highly knowledgeable but also a genuinely kind and approachable person. I immediately felt comfortable and at ease with him. It’s clear that the team here is passionate about what they do. The entire office has such a welcoming and positive atmosphere, which made every step of the process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking excellent OB/GYN and prenatal care in a supportive, friendly environment, I’m so grateful to have found this team! I love coming to my prenatal visits! :-)

I witnessed a terrible experience at a birth with Dr Bruksch. He was abusive during labor and delivery. Didn’t ask for consent or even inform the patient before preforming a large left mediateral episiotomy and didn’t acknowledge to the patient that it was preformed after the fact either - the nurses were the ones who told the patient after he left the delivery and helped her understand the results and gave her information for after care. He prepared her for the episiotomy before there was any indication for the intervention and then preformed the procedure quickly without consent or any conversation. He cut very deeply and without care. He used a Peudendal block and then strongly pinched her vaginal tissue to check that the numbing was effective while smiling and saying it was quite a sharp pinch - if the numbing was working she would really have felt that. It’s as if he’s still operating in the birth norms and understanding of birth from the 70s. We know much more now and we know… that the risks of these procedures do not outweigh the short term benefits of getting a baby out quicker. He’s cold and uncaring and abusive. Please don’t use him - he was the choice that was chosen only because he is the one in plaza towers that delivers babies and so the other GYNs refer to him. However his care during birth is aggressive and damaging and unkind unlike the other providers. Don’t expect anything else from this Dr.

I visited Plaza Towers for a UTI test and had the worst experience ever! My appointment was with Dr. Lawrence Bruksch and it was off to a horrible start from the moment he walked in... without a mask! He claimed he already had COVID-19 and said he couldn't get it again. Even if that was true, as a healthcare professional, he should always wear a mask. Then he insisted on doing a straight catheter in addition to a urine test, which was so uncomfortable and painful, especially if you actually have a UTI. The results from the catheter showed that I did not have a UTI, however, the urine test results were positive for having a UTI. This just goes to show how ineffective and unnecessary the straight catheter is. In hindsight, I really wish I would've said no to having the catheter, but I wasn't sure and thought I could trust the recommendation of a doctor. Dr. Lawrence Bruksch's practices are unethical, ineffective and outdated. DO NOT VISIT THIS OFFICE!

This is a review that I should have written almost 25 years ago. Dr Bruksch is a coldhearted and cruel man. He should not be practicing medicine let alone obstetrics. I was young and innocent at the time, and in my 6th month. My water broke and I started bleeding. I had called the office explained my situation, and they were expecting me. I remember Dr Bruksch seeing me in the waiting room. At that point I was bleeding excessively. Dr Bruksch was NOT to be interrupted, he was having a staff meeting right under my nose. Though he made eye contact with me He continued talking to his staff and completely ignored me as I was hemorrhaging. I had lost an excessive amount of blood and was starting to feel faint. At that point, his partner had heard about it from the front desk, he took me in his office and performed a D&C. I remember him saying I had lost a lot of blood and had I been at the hospital I would have needed a blood transfusion. This experience always haunted me. Dr Bruksch… is a cold and callus man. Please do not put your life in his hands.

It has been a long time but I waited an inordinate amount of time on two occasions for the drs. Dr.B. himself is a good man and very knowledgeable but some of the staff not so

He was great when I saw him, and promised he would follow up regarding my discomfort. He opted NOT to provide me with any antibiotics so I had to suck up feeling uncomfortable for basically 4-5 days. I called Tuesday to follow up as he suggested and get the test results. I called THREE times. Nothing. Nothing!!! I am so uncomfortable and there is no way to get a hold of the guy to know what's going on with me. TERRIBLE.

Excellent care!!! I would definitely recommend him.

I had to call the office repeatedly although the staff was friendly and helpful, the doctor was either overbooked or didn't have time to get back with me. rather stressful.

My wife was really sick with a terrible flu/cough and he was the doctor on call - she was concerned about the OTC meds that are pregnancy safe so she called and was told to leave a message and he would call back within an hour. That was 3 freaking weeks ago! She ended up suffering until Monday when she called her primary care physician (who returned her call in 45 minutes, by the way). Plaza Towers office is HORRIBLE as well. Waited 90 minutes one morning for an appointment. Guess they don't realize that some of us work for a living.

Arrogant, rude, uncaring, impersonal, but more importantly--IGNORANT about my personal medical history and disease concerns. Will pay out of pocket to see someone else.
