Very difficult to get a follow-up appointment with and eventually when you end-up seeing him you are reminded again that Dr, Shuer is not only not a good listener but also a poor communicator who does not follow-up with his patients or cares to be part of the solution. I have not been impressed by his diagnosis or treatment nor by his diva like personality.

Dr. Shuer has acted as a consulting physician for me while I deal with a very complicated and complex condition related to spinal bifida. Both him and his nurse practitioner, Candice, have given me the strength and courage while I deal with this difficult neurological affliction. I can not Thank them enough!

Thanks to Dr. Shuer I got my life back...free of pain. He was the only doctor that didn't jump to a fusion, and had a more precise, comprehensive diagnosis. He used another procedure that maintained the mobility in my cervical spine. I can now play tennis again!

When I had epilepsy that couldn't be controlled by medications, Dr Shuer performed surgery that changed by life. He did an excellent job that was just what I had hoped for: no more epilepsy and no negative mental effects. He showed excellent judgement and skill in removing the brain lesion that was causing my problems.

Doctor very uncaring. rude during appointment. does not give much information. Very poor bedside manner.

Dr. shuer did 4 brain surgeries on me and i trust him completly with my life and I recommend him for any sort of proceedure
