Staff Lazy, Doctor Rude and Condescending

DR Brown has relieved me of severe pain without any strong drugs. I have been 5 years that I am pain free

Caring, straight forward. Was recommended by other top notch doctors. She employs a fabulous PT in her office who has brought my arm problem a long way. I would and do recommend Dr Brown highly.

Dr. Brown believed me when I said I was in terrible pain, even before she saw CT scans, etc. She does everything she can to alleviate pain, but she has restrictions --my overall health & the government. She is cautious & does procedures in a systematic order. Diet, exercise, then drugs, then procedures, then surgery, etc. She is a caring, overworked & underpaid pain manager. She has many patients--so be patient.

I suffer from extreme Shoulder pain. After asking to get a cortisone shot, I was told she need the approval from my Cardiologists and I have to wait until she gets the approval faxed back to her. 3 days later, after my calls never got answered and I never got a call back after leaving a voice mail, I had no other choice then to drive to her office, asking for the approval I was told they had faxed the request right away and have not received a responds. Also, she was mad at me telling me, I'm disrupting her office because I do not have an appointment on this day. I questioned my Cardiologists and I learned, she never faxed the request in the first place. The staff does not return calls or just doesn’t answer phone. This is the worst treatment I have ever received from any doctor's practice.

Was recommended by the top Neurosurgeon in the area. Dr Brown was extremely nice and patient. She stayed and answered all my questions and would HIGHLY recommend her. The nurses and staff were also fantastic. Jessica was very professional yet down to earth!!!!

I waited a week for an appointment scheduled at 2PM. The front desk staff were friendly and I only waited a short time in the waiting room. Taken to exam room then shortly taken for X-rays. If I had not been in pain for over 2 weeks I would have questioned X-Rays at that point. The technician took X-rays based on what I said hurt. A long time later Lori introduces herself as the P.A., asked some questions, blood pressure, etc. Then asked if I want trigger point shots! At this point I asked when was I talking with Dr. Brown and she replied "She left. All I can say is I was told to come in here". Dr. Brown left??...it was apparent this was not new behavior! What are Lori's credentials? Who read my X-rays?? What a disappointment, waste of my time and detriment to my well being......never will go back.

In our opinion she is no way a specialist in pain medicine as it says she is on her website. She has no experience with a patient that has severe back pain and spinal stenosis issues. Telling a patient to do physically therapy rehab when he has been through that many times in the past and has proof that it never worked is not good advice . Actually the wrong physical therapy could make it worse. If you want to waste your time with homeopathic remedies nonsense that don't work either go to her. Homeopathic remedies don't work for people with severe spinal stenosis. She is always running very behind and you will sit in the office for ever. Very unprofessional in our opinion. Her bedside manner is unprofessional as well. This is not a doctor to go to if you are in constant pain. She has no concept of pain management as she says she does on her website
