Best surgeon ever. Saved my life. His wife/nurse is tops

Apparently his wife runs his office. He is an exceptional and gifted surgeon. His wife is the most unprofessional, foul mouthed person and tells all in the waiting room, she's PROUD of it. After I witnessed this behavior, I was ready to leave. So glad I didn't. Dr.Berlad is wonderful. He explains things so that we could understand, has great bedside manner and did not rush us at all. He tackled a very difficult case and we have wonderful results. The only (and it's a big one) is having to deal with is miserable wife. I'd give office staff a -10.

Great Dr! I have had two spine surgeries from him now, and can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Berlad. Prior to each of my surgeries he spent time showing me on my MRI exactly what the problem was, how the surgery would repair the problem and what to expect in my recovery. He has restored my life to me - twice now. I am very grateful. His pleasant bedside manner is so refreshing these days! He never makes you feel that he is in a rush, and he is always willing to answer questions and provide reassurance.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE STAFF ......RITA HIS WIFE NEEDS SOME SERIOUS SENSITIVITY TRAINING !!!!!!!!NASTY WOMEN AND BECAUSE OF HER DR. BERLAD HAS LOST ME AS A PATIENT. I did however like Dr. Berlad. He spent time explaining everything to me and answered all my questions.

Dr. Berlad, Rita and his team are outstanding! Dr. Berlad has an outstanding bedside manner, is compasionate and cares enough to keep you informed on the situation. He performed thre brain surgeries on me and I am thrilled with the result. He is top notch.

Dr. Berlad gave my life back to me. I can walk straight and have a normal life. His ability is outstanding, plus a very caring, gentle man

I have suffered sciatic pain down both legs for over 2 years. It got progressivly worse until the pain was unbearable. I was very afraid to have back surgery. And even worse, the required down time from my extremely active life filled me with dread. I visited 4 sugeons before finally deciding to have the surgery done by Dr. Berlad. At my first appointment he spent 45 minutes with me going over my MRI in detail as well as showing me what exactly the procedure would involve on his life size skeleton. He spent the time to explain why the lengthy recovery time was required, and helped to define a specific time line of what I could expect weeks and even months after the surgery.He was the last doctor I interviewed. I scheduled the surgery that day.I am now 4 weeks post op and I can't believe how wonderful life is without pain. While I have not yet resumed horseback riding yet, I know that I will and that it too will be pain free.Dr. Berlad's bedside manner is comforting. All of my… family felt reassured and at ease after he visted with them following my surgery. I noted that sometimes you may have to wait a little bit for your appointment, but that is only because he is providing the caring, compasionate care to another patient. He is worth waiting for.Thank you Dr. Berlad for giving me my life back - pain free!

Dr. Berlad...let's just say that Dr. Belad was mean to me for no reason. I felt very sick about this.
