Do not go to him. Ive met people in Providence who have major medical problems because of Edstrom.

He let his 26 yr.old resident do my surgery...Do your own surgery.This guy sucks.

Dr. Edstrom and his staff are absolutely wonderful. They are professional, take all the necessary precautions, answer all your questions, and relieve all concerns patiently. The tummy tuck was better than expected! Absolutely thrilled with the results, and plan to have some future plastic surgery done on my thighs by Dr. Edstrom. I totally trust him, and would recommend him highly. On a scale of 1-5, without hesitation I would give him a 5 star.

Had breast reduction in 2010. My scars weren't closing and kept getting worse and bigger. Every time I went to him he said it would get better. It just got worse. Turns out it was necrotizing fasciitis. My GP gave me an ointment and when I returned to Edstrom he had NEVER HEARD OF IT. It took exactly three months for my skin to heal from the day of surgery until I was no longer having a problem. Three months that I could not shower fully or feel normal in life. My scars are so ugly from the infection being untreated for so long. I'm just glad I went to my GP when I did. Do not go to Lee Edstrom. He has no idea what to do when you have complications. He will just tell you everything is fine....meanwhile your skin is being eaten by bacteria. Save yourself and find literally anyone else.

I have had surgery with Dr Edstrom twice in my life. The first was when I was 16 and had a cyst removed from my wrist. I remember Edstrom being kind and reserved much like myself. though I was young and scared of having surgery for the first time, he and his staff put me at ease. This experience was why I went back to Dr. Edstrom in my twenties. Dr Edsteom diagnosed me with tubular breasts and performed the complicated and delicate procedure to correct my deformity with great success. I have spent the last 8 years since my surgery finally being able to no longer be ashamed of my body. My results are so natural that people don't believe me when I tell them I have Implants. I even was sent a get well bouquet of flowers from his staff post surgery. My only complaint was the lack of follow up from Dr Edstrom. When I missed my third follow up appointment due to being out of state for work I never heard from him or his staff again, perhaps they assumed I was just another happy customer.… I never wrote a review for Dr Edstrom but was recently looking up his number to see if he was still practicing in the area and saw there is an upset patient posting multiple angry reviews. I can't say I know what this patient is going through, and my sympathy goes out ton whomever it is, but anyone with any sense can see it's the same angry patient. My father has dealt with this himself online being a restaurant owne. He had an angry customer make fake reviews in attempts to discredit his restaurant and so I understand it's also unfair to Dr. Edstrom too. My experience was wonderful, I plan on going back to him again in the future.

Having my sixth surgery next Friday to fix what this doctor did to my face. There is so much damage from what he did to my face my skin will never be the same. Permanent damage to my lymph nodes and also massive broken blood vessels all around the area. This doctor should have done to him what he has done to other people. It has robbed me of my quality of life and my health and also has cost me thousands of dollars for surgeries and medicine and seeing other doctors. I went to him to have a tiny scar removed and now the scar is about 10 times bigger because of all the damage underneath. Please file a complaint with the dept of health and RI Hospital if this doctor messed you up.

Still having problems after this dr messed up my face almost four years ago. Alice f. Mist have the wrong dr because this dr does not do MOHs surgery. Don't let this dr do anything to your face. Only giving one star because I have to.

Dr. Edstrom did a fabulous Mohs operation on my face. You can't even see the scar.

Had an MACS facelift with Dr. Edstrom. Due to his inexperience in this type of facelift and negligence, I can no longer have another face or neck lift performed again. Dr Edstrom hid the fact that severe damage to the under layers and structure of my skin during the procedure. He was negligent because he was out of town and left his residents to remove my sutures several days after surgery. His residents did not realize I had suffered severe damage and never contacted Dr. Edstrom. Dr. Edstrom should have had another qualified plastic surgeon available while he was out of town and not rely on his medical trainees. I asked Dr Edstrom to have a qualified physician to check me out while he was away, but he told me not to worry. I went to Dr. Sullivan last month and showed him the photos after my MACS facelift performed by Dr Edstrom and Dr Sullivan said he had never seen so much damage in his 20+ years of practice and that it would be "too dangerous" to have another face or neck lift.

Dr. Edstrom performed my rhinoplasty in 2011. At the time I felt that he was very knowledgable and would do a great job. Boy was I wrong! Immediately after surgery I was initially happy with my result. I had a hump that I wanted removed, but I also wanted my nose to look much smaller than it was. He removed the hump but then raised my tip so high (which wasn't necessary or discussed) and added an implant that made it look ridiculous. You can even see the implant sticking out of the tip of my nose. If he was a plastic surgeon that knew what he was doing he would have used my own cartilage from my ear/rib to get a more natural look. My nose was straight before surgery and now it is crooked. I am in the process of looking to have a revision surgery and I would never step foot in his office again. I went to see him years ago about how dissatisfied I was and he offered to redo the surgery but I would have to pay for the anesthesia. He tried to show me what he would do on the… computer and it looked so unnatural and proved that he did not know what he was doing. No thank you! I will go to someone who actually knows what they are doing. I hear he is an incredible hand surgeon and thats all he should be doing. Dr. Edstrom...stay away from faces and those of you who need face surgery...do yourself a favor and stay away from Dr. Edstrom!
