I had been suffering with pelvic pain and issues in general for as long as I can remember. I was bounced from one doctor to another doctor like a ball. No one was able to figure out what was causing my pain. I had basically given up and was beginning to feel like I must be crazy and the pain is all in my head. I was FINALLY referred to Dr Hammons and I was sure that I would have the same outcome as usual......but NOOOOOOO!! Dr Hammons listened and took the time to understand me and my decades long journey that brought me to his office. He is my saving grace, my HERO!!! Thanks to Dr Hammons, I am now pain free and finally enjoying living life to it's fullest. He figured my problem out and actually SOLVED it:) I am beyond thankful and grateful to Dr Hammons and his team for the care and compassion that they all provided me with. I wish I could give him 10 stars. He deserves it.

I was referred to Dr Hammond for my hysterectomy by my primary on/gym. I had a more difficult case due to lots of bad scar tissue and multiple organs being adhered to one another. He is extremely knowledgeable and uses the ERAS approach to surgery. If you follow his instructions, your results after the surgery will be great. He successfully completed my surgery and I was able to go home the same day. I am four days out and can’t believe how good I feel and how quickly I was able to move around. I would recommend Dr. Hammond to anyone needing this surgery. In addition, he is extremely patient and takes the time to answer questions before and after surgery and throughout the process. Highly recommend!

Dr. Hammons was my surgeon for my hysterectomy. From consultation to the day of my surgery and my followup visit he was so professional and friendly. I never doubted his ability to help me i was so confident that i had the best surgeon i didn't worry at all.

I have been suffering with chronic pelvic pain for several years as a result of past surgeries. While many doctors looked to mask the pain with medication or birth control, Dr. Hammons was a careful listener and took a genuine interest in finding the real cause of my pain and an effective solution. His examination prior to surgery was very thorough, but what made me feel truly confident in his care was the time he spent asking questions, listening to my story and symptoms, and allowing me to clarify any doubts that I had. This level of care continued up until my surgery took place, and I was very happy with my procedure as well. I have never recovered from the effects of anesthesia so quickly, and believe this is due to the measures Dr. Hammons puts in place for you before surgery. My recovery from a laparoscopic hysterectomy, in general, has also held true to what Dr. Hammons described for me. I feel like Dr. Hammons put a great deal of thought into the post-op medications he… prescribes (in addition to lifestyle suggestions, herbal teas etc.), and it really helped me to recuperate quickly and without feeling groggy etc. I would highly recommend Dr. Hammons for any woman that is looking for someone to help them find a solution to pelvic pain.
