Dr. Lee A Kaback, MD

Dr. Kaback is a true professional. I received excellent care during my broken shoulder ailment- I have great confidence in him - he is kind and professional and goes to all lengths to avoid surgery. I highly recommend him.

I wouldn't spend another penny on him.

Dr. Kaback and his physician's assistant, Pavel, were wonderful to work with. My mother shattered her elbow in a very devastating way, and Dr. Kaback was able to rebuild it so that she has regained an amazing amount of function/mobility. Throughout the entire process, they were kind and supportive, and have continued to provide excellent post-operative care. I am 70 and had a complete tear of my right shoulder rotator cuff. Dr Kaback made the repair in mid August 2017. I've had minimal pain (more discomfort than pain) during the recovery period. The doctor was easy to talk to, had excellent bedside manner and the results have been terrific. Four months post surgery and I am back playing golf and tennis!

This is not the first time I have seen Dr. Kaback. But each time I have seen him, he has been prompt, personable and very knowledgeable in his specialty. He gathers info, does his physical examination and discusses the various treatments deemed appropriate in timely fashion. He takes the least aggressive path and follows up with his patients to determine if more aggressive treatment is necessary. His view is the patient's time is as valuable as his time.

I'd recommend him to anyone! Took time to hear my concerns and opinions and worked with me to pick a surgical option we both agreed on. He went above and beyond to research my unusual issue. I couldn't be more pleased!

I would not recommend him to anyone! I had a work injury to my hand/arm and he came into every appointment with me with the mindset that I was trying to cheat the system. He sent me for nerve test on my bad arm, but never my good arm to compare. He accused me of trying to stay on workers compensation to be a stay at home mom while my husband works (I'm a single mother with no help). He would not listen to me one bit. My therapist was amazing and would send Dr. Kaback letters on what he was finding wrong with my arm and his thoughts on it, which Dr. Kaback openly told me he would not ready them. When I finally told him I was done being treated by him he told me he would preform the surgery that I had been needing, I told him no! Who lets a doctor do a surgery they don't even think is necessary?? I don't trust him one bit and would never recommend anyone to see him!

He put my broken, dislocated elbow back together and it works! Excellent skill, excellent attitude, excellent judgement. After the bad luck of my accident, I had the good luck to find Dr Kaback.

I talked with Dr Kaback after talking with another orthopaedic surgeon. Both my wife and I liked Dr Kaback from our initial interview. He explained my options, the type of surgery, what would be involved with rehab and any other questions we had. I have read a couple of other reviews which have been critical of his interpersonal skills. This has definitely NOT been my experience. He has been friendly, but professional, and has been responsive (and timely to respond) to any questions I have had. My rehab therapists told me that very few surgeons provide them with the detailed written level of expectations as Dr Kaback.

Dr. seems cold-hearted. No bedside manner. Spends under 7-10minutes with me. Writes me scripts that raise my blood pressure, even though I have told him I'm not suppose to take. Over 5wks of excruciating pain. The pain is so horrible I cannot sleep. I would not send my worst enemy to him.
