Dr. Lee Wilkes, MD

Dr Wilkes appears to charge for services he does not give. When you call his office, they can't answer your questions about why he is making unrequested visits and when you talk to him, he tells you to call his office. When he made an office visit with my mother in her assisted living facility, she could not remember anything he did. The one thing my mother remembers well is when someone is doing something regarding her health. On the phone, he is rude and condescending. I would not recommend him to anyone because he will charge you monthly for unnecessary visits because he can.

THE DR COMES TO MY HOME. HE IS ALWAYS ON TIME. HE NEVER SEEMS IN A HURRY. HE SPENDS AS MUCH TIME AS IS NEEDED. ALWAYS ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT HOW I'M DOING. I AM VERY PLEASED AND COMFORTABLE WITH THE DR.

It is not very often that one may find a doctor who takes time to listen to his patients and shows genuine care for them. Dr. Wilkes is such a physician. My experience with Dr. Wilkes is a very positive one. He takes time to listen to my concerns, asks the right questions and makes sure he understands my symptoms as I describe them before performing the appropriate examinations based on his vast knowledge and experience, before making a diagnosis, which is usually right on target.His highly courteous assistant, Leah, does a thorough job of following up to make sure everything is going right. As if that is not enough, Dr. Wilkes himself calls me on the telephone after a few days to check to see how I'm doing and how I'm responding to the medication.By the doctor himself initiating a phone call to check up on me convinces me of his sincere interest in my health and well-being. I have no hesitation whatsoever to highly recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent caring doctor -… especially if you are a senior citizen.
