The knowledge and skills of Dr. Leslie Demars is undeniable! But it’s her sincere compassion that made her the best in her field ! The personal conversations, the bedside manners , the telephone follow up and much more! Highly recommended! I am blessed to have her lead the team of health care professionals in my recent surgery! Great Care and discharge planning! I felt in control of my care and always has been from the start! I am home safely and felt great! Still recovering but positively moving in the right direction! I have been a patient of Dr. Demars since 2012. I had gone to see a Dr. in Boston, and was discouraged with the visit. I was referred to Dr. Demars by a family member that was/is a patient that raved about her. She is warm, and listen to me as a patient. I cannot rave enough about her bedside manner, which means a LOT to me. I will continue to be her patient, and feel blessed that I have found her to oversee my care.

Leslie is amazing, warm, informative, inquisitive about illness, is motivated to give great care. She took care of my ovarian cancer in 2004.

Went to see her for a cystectomy and the ovary it was aytached to. The cyst is huge and this surgery would have given me such relief from incontinence and I would have been able to work out again and get into better health. She refused to perform the surgery unless I gave her permission to take out both ovaries even though only one is damaged. I told her I would deal with that another time and just wanted the large cyst out and the ovary it was affecting. Instead of helping me and respect my wishes as a person she refused care completely! I do not recommend this dotor if you want to be treated with respect.

Because of Dr. Demar's expertise, I have survived stage 3 ovarian cancer for more than 7 years. She is an excellent OB/GYN surgical oncologist. She is very kind and caring. She takes a lot of time during her office visits and is very tuned into my physical health, as well as to my emotional well being. I credit Dr. Demars with having saved my Life. I highly recommend Dr. Leslie Demars.

Dr Leslie Demars is the finest doctor we've ever worked with. She takes lots of time to explain and listen, she is obviously well trained and has a fantastic staff. Dartmouth-Hitchcock is a superb hospital in every respect.

Don't go to her go to a specialist instead and perhaps a Massachusetts Hospital.

Dr. Demars brought me back from stage IV cancer... twice. When dealing with literal life or death issues I would think "promptness" would be last on the agenda. Dr. Demars is highly skilled with an excellent bedside manner. Rest assured, Dr. Demars is above and beyond five stars.

My life is in her hands, and I literally trust her with my life. I am incredibly grateful for her. She has the best bestside manner! I look forward to seeing her.
