Had surgery with Dr.Memsic she was an angel. She saved my Life. Accepts all different ins, very nice and very proffesional.

She is,the best surgeon I have ever had. Best bedside manner,funny,down to earth and kind and caring. Very skilled. I am truly blessed by her, and by finding her even tho I live about 3 hours from where she practices!

What a gem. Luckily we were referred to her 20+ years ago by an Oncologist. She helped us and we are here to tell about it. If she says "You'll Live Happily Ever After" then you will. What's not to like; she's the whole package.

Searching on line for a good Hernia surgeon, I found the Hernia Center of Los Angeles, and its lead surgeon Dr. Leslie Memsic, MD. I was impressed with her credentials, including the liver transplantations she has performed in Cedar-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. Reading the reviews for Dr. Memsic, it is clear that she is a very nice person, making people feel at ease. And I agree, that is important. Meeting with her to discuss my surgery and to see if she would take me on as her patient, I was impressed with her detailed explanation of Hernia surgeries, and my particular case. Of great significance to me was that her hands seem to be perfect for small incision/delicate operations. She successfully repaired my Inguinal Hernia with mesh, as well as an indirect Hernia which she found located a few inches higher. I had none of the problems you read about on the internet. This I contribute to the great care she must have exercised in performing my Hernia repairs. Within four weeks, I no… longer could feel the surgery (other than a small ridge under the skin), and was carefully going back to the gym. She did a great job for me.

Dr. Memsic is a godsend!!! I could not emphasize that enough. Years ago, my mother suffered from a ruptured intestine due to malpractice resulting in peritonitis which nearly cost her her life. The damage to her intestines was severe. She became severely depressed when she was told she would have to wear colostomy bags for the rest of her life. Other doctors refused to operate on her because they said her surgery was "too complicated." Dr. Memsic held my mothers hands, looked her in the eyes, and with full confidence told my mother that she would take good care of her. She DID and the surgery was a success! No more colostomy bags! Her depression lifted and she could now resume a normal life. A compassionate and skilled surgeon is what my mother so desperately needed. Years later, when my mother was hit with the devastating news that she had breast cancer, we knew she was in the best hands with Dr. Memsic. Again, the surgery was a success. The Doc removed my mother's breast lump and… 13 lympth nodes. Thanks to Dr. Memsic my mother has been breast cancer free for many years now! You could not find a finer surgeon or a finer human being like Dr. Memsic. She is one of a kind!

Dr. Memsic is a role model for how a physician/surgeon/human being should be! Not only is she talented and experienced from a professional point of view, but the way she conducts herself as a learned physician, how she relates to each and every patient and how she relates to her staff is exceptional. I was fortunate enough to find her through an online search. My surgery seemed like a piece of cake, recovery and follow-ups were all good. I think no matter what I have in the future, she is my go to doctor, even if its for a referral. I trust her judgment immensely. If there were more Dr. Memsics in this world, it would be a terrific place.
