Dr. Leslie Diana Paul, MD

Dr. Paul wrote the wrong Rx for me TWO times. Even though she copied right from my current Rx bottles. Office acted like it was no big deal and I was inconviencing them. I could have been sick if the pharmacy didn't notice. Also she told me to come back in 6 months for refills but wrote the Rx for 1 year. Office is run down and has out-dated equipment. I gave them 2 chances and will never go back.

Dr. Paul was WONDERFUL. I had been to two other Dr.s and she was the FIRST that actually took time to listen to my symptoms and thoroughly go over all the possible causes. She was EXTREMELY thorough and CONCERNED during the appointment. I am so glad to have her as a GP now. She performed the test that she could and after they came back normal, she referred me to a specialist. It seems its rare to find a Dr. that actually is concerned about their patient and treats them as more than just an appointment. She even CALLED a couple days after my appointment to check on me and to answer any other questions I may have had about my blood work. I highly recommend Dr. Paul and feel much better knowing if I have additional issues I have a great GP to go to.

Overall I waited 3 hours to see the doctor. It has been 6 weeks and I still have no results. Although she was very, very nice, I had explained some medical concerns (history) I had myself (and related in family history). She informed me most (if not all) of her patients are elderly (this could explain why it took 3 hours before she stepped in the room). She also explained that she only accepts cash or check, no credit cards. Who does that these days? Most people these days have flex plan (credit cards) as provided by their employer. What a pain to have to be reimbursed every time. So since 2 weeks after the visit (about 3 weeks ago), I have been calling anywhere from 1-4x/week asking for results. The nurse explained that normally if all results are good, no call is made by the doctor. I explained to the nurse I needed to know what these results were, good or bad. I also have other doctors that need to know. Every time I call there's an excuse of why she is not available. This is 100%… unacceptable. I have a right to know my results and have them explained to me by a doctor. I don't care what your standard protocol is. So my last phone call to the nurse was asking for my records and I will be on the hunt for yet another doctor with a less than 3 hour wait time who will pay attention if I ask - regardless of your processes. I would not go see this doctor. As nice as she and her staff may be, that doesn't make up for her lack of respect of my patient rights and time.

I've seen Dr. Paul 2x. She is the nicest doctor ever. She's big on education so she spends 30 minutes-1 hour with each patient getting to know you and answering all questions that you might have about your health. Make an appointment, be patient and know that you will actually get good care. Her staff is really friendly and if you are sick they will do their best to get you in as soon as possible. They've even waited on the phone to deal with my health insurance and make sure that I'm covered or they can get me covered. I am not a person that has patience nor typically likes doctors--because they are usually too busy to actually listen to me--but she contradicts the expectation and she has really good taste in music.
