Dr. Leslie Anne Willingham

Very knowledgeable, listens and cares about her patients

My 90 year old mother has been seeing Dr. Willingham and nurse practitioners at this office for several years. It is becoming increasingly difficult and frustrating trying to make appointments, call with questions, etc. One can wait forever sitting on hold and listening to the most God awful music in the process. As much as we like the Dr and NP's, I am ready to look elsewhere for my mother.l

Dr Willingham sat for four days on results of a cancer biopsy and couldn't be bothered to return calls when confronted with a plea for response. Lacks compassion, likely because she is just too busy and office staff lack any initiative or empowerment.

As a patient for, about three years, I really love Dr. Willingham and the nurse practitioners. Their front office staff is not very friendly. Their MAs are better. On my last visit, I was accidently left in the exam room for 20 minutes and I had to go out into the hallway to check when I would be seen. The NP didn't know I was in the room. I am very frustrated with trying to get through their phones. I just waited 10 minutes for the operator to finally answer the phone. Then, when I am get transferred to person, I need to talk to about my having my MRI, I get voice mail. My authorization, for an MRI, was not processed properly, by their office, and it had to be sent back to their office to do it right. Their Eastside imaging has the same problem with their phones. I feel this organization is not very patient-service oriented. Dr. Willingham and their NPs are, however. What a shame!

The front staff are ok, the Dr and her MA are great! Took 6 years to find a really good DR with a good staff, she's the best I found. Great woman, great DR.

Although Dr. Willingham's staff is very courteous, office staff is very business-like, at best. Dr. Willingham and/or staff is very slow to reply to medical questions and it takes a long time to wait for appointment.

When I need to see a doctor, I need to see the doctor now. It is hard to get a same day or two appointment with her instead I end up with a NP which is not always acceptableacceptable. When I do get to see her she is excellent.!!!!

I have seen Dr Willingham several times and also seen the NPs associated with her. When seeing the NPs they consult with the Dr as appropriate.

First visit was excellent. Dr. listened and was very helpful. Loved her! Last visit she had a medical student and allowed the student to run the appointment. I felt like the student had no idea what was going on and I felt kind of brushed off and Dr. just went along with student. Now I hesitate to go back to be honest. I don't feel like my concerns will be taken seriously. Maybe would be different if I had seen Dr. Only on my last visit. I don't know.
