Dr. Linda Chung Ahn, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Ahn for nearly 8 years now. She is always friendly, compassionate and addresses all my medical needs. I enjoy the patient and provider relationship we have developed over the years. I will continue to see her as I trust and appreciate the care she continuously provides.

Dr Ahn is a knowledgeable doctor. A kind and compassionate person who puts you completely at ease. I have received excellent care from her for over 12 years.

Dr Ahn refused to see my wife 1 DAY after being seen in the emergency room. We made an appointment with her at the recommendation of the ER doctor. She was one of the few OBGYN's covered under our insurance plan. This doctor cancelled the follow-up just 30 minutes prior to the appointment due to the technicality that she wasn't the one to make the initial diagnosis. The only option we were given was to go out of network, and deal with another obscene medical bill, on top of the previous ER bill.

I have been a patient of her for years. Dr. Ahn keeps up to date with current medical recommendations. She always takes time to talk to me and answers any questions that I have. I

Doctor Ahn is polite and did take the time to discuss my concerns with me. However, she was not at all sympathetic to my medical needs. I needed HRT due to very bad menopausal symptoms. She refused to 'grant" me HRT and cited 30-year old, out-dated studies that have since been scientifically refuted. When I told her I was aware of that, she mainly wanted me to sign a waiver or she wouldn't give me any HRT. After she spent time giving me more excuses for refusing HRT that had little validity---I left her office without any HRT.

If you want a cozy or chatty OB/GYN, Dr. Ahn might not have the right sort of bedside manner for you. If you want efficient, direct and to the point, and straightforward, she's the right doc. I appreciated the efficiency of my visit. Sometimes Dr. Ahn can seem rushed, but this is just her style. I learned on my third visit to ask a lot of questions that were on my mind. She spent a lot of time with me once I conveyed my need to talk more in depth with her.

I thought Dr. Ahn was very nice. She was easy to talk to and I didn't feel embarrassed asking her anything.

I like Dr. Ahn but even though she is a OB/GYN I was disappointed that she wanted to prescribe a anti depressant for menopause. I wanted to do hormones and she was against me taking HRT but wrote a script for HRT. I decided to go with Bio-identicals and completely happy with my choice. I am following up with her today and hopefully open her eyes to giving women another choice instead of prozac. No women should take aniti depressants for menopause in my humble opinion.

Had to come in 15 minutes early, just to wait another 20 minutes after the appointment time. When finally did get back for visit, she was rushed, only looked at the computer, asked me all the same questions I already answered on the online questionnaire. Which was annoying since she was already staring at the computer. The pelvic exam was rushed and rough. Which topped off the embarrassment of the whole experience, was her tossing me a wipe box for the blood after the exam as she walked out of the exam room. NEVER going back!
