Dr. Linda Christine Bond, MD

Our son was in combat in Afghanistan and has suffered nightmares, anxiety and lack of sleep, and is now addicted to street drugs. We convinced him in 2013, to go to the VA for help. What a huge mistake!!! He became Dr. Bond's patient and she immediately diagnosed him with schizophrenia!. She never addressed his lack of sleep, or or PTSD, which were in his file. He is now trapped in a diagnosis and unable to get effective treatment for his PTSD. He has been in and out of the psych ward at least 4 times now and is currently there under force. We have asked to have him transferred to another doctor or facility and she refuses, accusing us of feeding into his problem by not accepting her diagnosis. She is now in the process of deeming him incompetent and he will lose all rights and control over his life. Our only hope is to become his legal guardians and have him transferred from her care. People wonder why so many veterans commit suicide......someone needs to look at… Dr. Bond for the answer! It is so unfair that someone who clearly does not like people, is in charge of those who helped give her the freedom to do so.!

Very concerned with her approach and arrogance. Took all my meds. Dot from alcohol and my meds. Could have had heart attack or stroke. Didn’t seem to phase her. I am in constant pain from many surgeries and medical devices. Wouldn’t give A Tylenol. I think a board review is in order. Sometimes you should be aware of who you are dealing with.
