Dr. Linda Kay Carney, MD

Dr. Carney cared for me in the past, she is everything the one star reviews make her out to be, I'm glad I got out from under her, she also holds a grudge & will go out of her way if she can be disruptive to you after you've terminated your care w/ her.

I love Dr. Linda Carney and have been under her care since 2014. My health, wellbeing and understanding of how to stay healthy is an entire world better because of the care she gives and knowledge she imparts. I've lived in Alabama, Florida, Michigan, Tennessee and Texas. I've seen doctors in the respective states above, this is why I say Dr. Linda Carney and her staff are one of the best and a rare find!

Dr. Carney has been my doctor for nearly a year now. I recently had my annual physical and she answered all of my questions in great detail and gave me the tools and knowledge to have another year of health and help me increase my vitality and increase my energy. As a triathlete she also gives me tools to help get faster and stay fit.

Dr Carney was my husbands Dr when we were dating. I went with him to an appointment and she asked him who I was --he told her we were going to be married. She told him to ditch me that he did not need to get married. He is a mature man in his 50's. None of her business if we decided to marry! She also told him he was a diabetic and had him on two different diabetic medications. He was having low insulin reactions and she decided he needed the dosage increased. He got worse. She then told him he needed his gall bladder removed-- he wasn't having problems-- her reasoning was-- it's always possible you might someday have a problem. She also told him he has sleep apnea and very possibly could die in his sleep. Well-- my husband went to another Dr and after tests were run he was NOT a diabetic! Didn't need his gallbladder out!! Didn't need the 6-8 different medications she had him on!! Don't walk-- RUN from this Dr -- she is definetly a nut case and I can't believe she is… still allowed to practice!! Office staff is a joke!!! Dr Carney husband was attempting to "man" the front desk with little high school girls as his assistants!!

Read the rest of the reviews! She is called " unstable, controlling, nut job, pushy and dangerous" by other patients!. I agree with most everyone else. Someone should file a formal complaint.

Waiting over an hour, and then the frantic rushed look in her eyes should have told me to leave right then. The completely insane test, giving me a bunch of prescriptions, the religious propaganda, this woman is nuts. Find anyone else.

sadly she is a crazy little woman who is a control freak. I thought she was a good doctor at first but as time went on I realized she never wants you well exactly. she wants you to come in very regularly for tests blood work buy books and of course bill your insurance unmercifully and get your co pay. even for wellness visits which are supposed to be free to the patient.I think she is imbalanced and frankly dangerous and untrustworthy.

When I first started seeing Dr. Carney she spent the time to really understand my health issues. This is also the case for every visit. She is NOT a doctor that spends 3 minutes with you, writes you a script, pats you on the head, and sends you out the door. Health is more than meds. It includes lifestyle and nutrition. That is where Dr. Carney excels above other doctors. She is a full service Doctor. The biggest plus she brings to you is her vast knowledge and understanding of nutrition and how it affects your health. Other doctors don't have a clue about this. Grandma was right, you are what you eat. If you really want to get healthy, she is the doctor for you.

exceptional MD ! Really the best I've ever met. She truly cares about getting you well, not just prescribing another pill. Her staff are so nice, too

She is very intelligent but has some serious issues. She is very pushy, has a horrible attitude, will rag on you horribly about your bad habits (like, I get it that I need to stop them and she is a doctor but when I came in for some other issue, she doesn't even really address it because she won't stop talking about my bad habits). She doesn't use staff that have gone to school, she trains them herself and so it is very awkward in that when you get anything done, there are usually five people watching. Very rude, talks over you, doesn't really listen to you, just hears what your main complaint is and gives you the standard response. Definitely avoid!!
