Dr. Linda L Mak, MD

Dr. Mak is knowledgeable, kind and understanding. She takes her time explaining what she is doing step by step with the procedure being done. The Office Staff was professional and able to get a appt in a reasonable amount of time. I would recommend Dr. Mak for Dermatological needs

Asked me what face products I have been using. I told her that I just introduced a retinol into my skincare routine and she told me not to use it because I could get pregnant. I told her I am not pregnant nor do I ever want kids. Her response was: mistakes can happen, and you wouldn’t want to get an abortion. Then tells me what birthcontrol I should be on and asks me if condoms don’t make me feel safe enough. Then tells me that if I continue on birthcontrol I will get cancer by my 40s. I only wanted to know what retinol does to my skin or if I should be using it not a full on gyno appointment. Then proceeds to pull my shirt down to look at my chest without any warning. I’m sure she meant well by her comment & actions but I wasn’t comfortable.

Had my first appointment today the doctor is way too fast for my liking I will be switching to another dermatologist didn’t seemed like she cared one bit was in a hurry.

Great Doctor

She was friendly enough and timely enough that I didn't see any problem. She pointed out skin problems that I hadn't taken seriously. She was accommodating to my lack of finances when recommending medication. Generally, she was nice and efficient.

I am glad that I look much better than before I received any treatment from this doctor. She is really good.

I had with Dr. Mak at the Indian Wells office. Her staff is very helpful and friendly. She is spot on with her diagnosis and even though I am moving out of state back to the east coast, I only have good things to say about Dr. Mak and her staff. She had taken care of my skin cancers and pre-cancerous lesions. I had laser on my face and I look much younger than my age. I will recommend Dr. Mak to all my friends.

I have been with Dr. Mak for many years. I am very pleased with her bedside manners and her diagnostic skills. She will tell me her diagnosis and each time, it will be confrmed with the pathological diagnosis. She is a great surgeon with very good bedside manners and I am very happy that I have found her.

Refused to come into the room with what turned out to be a self contained stress related breakout related to my rheumatoid arthritis. An asst was sent into photograph me half naked. I was sent to a specialist who id'd the condition immediately. I felt humiliated and ostracized and Dr. Mak never called to follow up the condition which was excruciatingly painful. I was traumatized by her lack of compassion.
