I have over 10 years of experience collaborating with psychologists and developmental therapists to implement therapeutic services and monitor the progress of children who displayed symptoms of neurodevelopmental disabilities. I have learned that all family dynamics are unique, and therefore families require support that is tailored for them. I have worked with families who were seeking to understand their child’s cognitive needs and abilities due to growing academic difficulties or due to a medical diagnosis with neurodegenerative implications. Throughout my clinical training, I have worked closely with experts in the fields of autism, ADHD, and epilepsy to conceptualize complex clinical cases and arrive at a diagnosis that allowed a patient’s family to make informed decisions about the child’s care. I have developed exceptional skills in semi-structured clinical interviewing techniques for gathering data about pediatric patients and their family dynamics to facilitate assessment and …treatment planning. Furthermore, I understand the importance of identifying a pediatric patient’s neurocognitive strengths and weaknesses in order to provide informed and effective recommendations for treatment.
