Dr. Ling Li, MD

I did not realize how neglected my care under Dr. Ling was until I went to a new doctor. My son suggested I see another doctor as I was not seeing any improvements in my health. She seemed to be concerned but in retrospect, I just think she has a good office manner, however follow through is lacking. She asked misleading questions to get the answers she wanted to her and actually blew off some of my concerns as normal because of giving childbirth. My last child is an early teen. I was bewildered after seeing the new doctor by the waste of time and energy put in with seeing this lady. She did not do one thing to improve my well-being and health issues. If you have no other choice in doctors, she may be able to help you. I am glad I chose to move on.

We took our 4 month old to Dr. Li due to an ongoing cough. We had heard that you can give children honey to help with a cough so we asked her about it and she said that it was okay. Weeks later his cough continued so we called to take him back but Dr. Li was not there. We instead were told to go see her on call doctor. The on call doctor looked at our son for a total of two minutes and said that nothing was wrong with him. He continued to get worse so we took him to another doctor. He had a double ear infection and an upper respiratory infection. We asked that doctor about the honey thing and they said absolutely do not give your child honey it can cause serious problems and sometimes can be fatal for a child that young. Luckily we never did start that with him. Google giving honey to a child under the age of one and you will see what the possible side effects are. Last but definitely not least, he had received all of his shots from Doctor Li so we were going to let her go ahead and do… the four month shots. Since he was sick they told us they didn't want to do them because it was a total of six shots. Again went back to the other doctor and they said that you should not give a child more than two shots at once. Needless to say we will not be taking our child back to the office. I wouldn't recommend anyone or their children to go there.
