Dr. Ling Li

She's extremely rushed, refuses to actually listen to her patients, and never reviews previous records. Wouldn't go over an MRI she ordered, only ordered the MRI and not even blood tests, before telling my husband (the patient), "At least you're not dying." Said to come back if it "gets worse", but that there was no point to schedule another appt, and could refer to somewhere else if we wanted to try that after only 1 medication prescribed that didn't help. Basically, she refused to do her job at all. Also laughed in my husband's face when he said that we're losing everything to this unknown illness and will be homeless soon (funny, right?), before rushing out of the room. Clearly only there for a paycheck, we've never met a doctor that cares so little (and I'm a disabled "professional patient", so I've seen it all). I wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy. Patients don't deserve to feel unheard, like the doctor is disinterested, or unfixable and abandoned as she did. Deplorable.

I definitely don’t recommend her; especially if your diagnosis is challenging. She Misdiagnosed me for over a year. Finally sent me for a lumbar stick. Didn’t follow up. Final straw, MA would ignore phone calls. Had to call the main desk at her clinic to try to get test results, THREE WEEKS AFTER TEST! Ended up going to Barnes-Jewish hospital. Totally worth the drive.

We saw Dr. Li regarding my husbands recent stroke. I am a retired RN of 40 years so I've been around Dr. and this one is fantastic! She showed us his recent MRI and developed a plan of care wirh us. She answered all questions and was very nice. We feel fortunate to be in her care.

I have had Botox shot twice from Dr. Li. It is taking some time to get the dose right. Right now I’m having trouble holding my head up. She just said “I’ see you in 3 months.” No follow up to see how I’m doing. I think she is knowledgeable. I wish it didn’t take so long to get it right.

An assistant did the first part of the test and was told that Dr. LI would do the second part of the test . The assistant said that Dr. Li would tell me the results of the test. However, the doctor did not want to tell me anything. I had to ask her the results and she only gave me limited information. Said my doctor would discuss the finding with me.

Dr. Li was kind, patient, and took the time to hear my concerns and get as much background information as she could. Even though she did not know what is going on with my brain she is willing to try to find out.
