Dr. Lisa Ingrid Banchik, MD

I went in for my records. Simply to collect my records... the office at first gave me the run around.. telling me I need to get a release from the new doctor to get those records... new doc keeps asking why they need to do that, their doc never asked for that. I explained this is what Dr. Banchik’s Office said they needed to be done when I walked in and asked for my records.... I also expressed was willing to pay her $30 fee for my records on the spot. I even asked to sign Dr. Banchik’s own authorization of release when I was standing in her office.... they said no go through your new doctor. finally new doc told that my records belong to me and they are not allowed to withhold them from me whenever I ask for them... went back to the office to finally collect my records. When I got there the front desk lady was being reprimanded by the Dr. Banchik. At this time the doctor sitting down and is on the other side of the counter behind the window pane going through my records... I opened… the window pane further to let them know I was there and that I needed my records. She starts to say things like you’re just depressed... she was using her diagnosis against me and shouting it with a room filled with patients and staff... all I did was ask for my records. Then she starts pushing me for answers as to why I need them and what doctor I went to see after her... after I answer she just continues with you have -blank- and this is why you’re acting like this right now... and i calmly tried to explain to her that her diagnosis may be correct but there are other doctors, multiple specialists, who think there is more to what you’re saying and just give me my records because I am allowed to collect my records... she keeps pushing for the doctors name of who I went to see afterwards and what they think. On and on... Immediately starts to shut down what I’m saying anytime I open my mouth... She keeps pushing her diagnosis, YELLING. In front of all of these people.... all I asked for was my records.... simply please may I have my records. I couldn’t stop saying this is crazy I just want my records, they were yelling at me to “leave now.” all I wanted was my records.. I left her office in tears after she finally handed me my records in an envelope after harassing me for answers with a series of shouted questions and remarks..... the receptionist Kim tried to come out and speak to me but the rest of the office staffed opened the door and yelled at her to get back inside “dr. banchik said no.” When I was a patient there about a year ago, when I expressed thoughts of possible PTSD, she decided this was the best time to pull me into a room with an army vet and ask a bunch of sad questions... and ended it with asking what kind of medication he was on (which was the same medication she prescribed for me) the man was very kind but this experience was just extremely uncomfortable...... and at the time I didn’t think much of it, just was left uncomfortable. this doctor is really something else...... this is not a usual thing to do.... if she is a psychiatrist/ doctor/neurologist like her license says she is, wouldn't she know anything about privacy for the safety of patients?.... or maybe some respect?..... I honestly don’t know how the simple task of going to pick up my own records turns into this.

She screamed at me and told me that I was bi polar- my longest friend who is a scientist was mortified when I told her how I was screamed at in her office

Terrible and the rudest!! My gf was accused of filling scripts that she did not have filled nor was that medication ever prescribed to her. She called me crying about how she was accused and had the office listened to her and done some homework, they would have realized just how WRONG they were. The Dr screamed, get out, we don't need you any way. I'm floored!! Having medical professionals in my family, I know this is not how you treat patients. So many horrible reviews on this Dr....run to another office.

I have never in my life met such an unprofessional, uncaring and money hungry woman! Upon arrival I heard her yelling at a much older gentleman That he “had been in the bathroom for too long and he couldn’t spend all day in there and he needed to leave.” At my appointment an error that could have quickly been rectified with some due diligence from her and her staff was met with her screaming at me. When I went to leave she started screaming “ we don’t need you anyways!” I now understand why she has such horrible reviews online. Trust me, they are all accurate. I would not send my dog to this woman.

Dr. Banchik did not go over my medical notes, and harassed me on the way out the door in front of everyone in the waiting room for no good reason other than she was in a bad mood herself. I'd like to revoke her payment, and I will not reutnr.

First interaction with the nurse(Melissa) was super pleasent. She greeted me with a smile and made me feel very comfortable explaining what my problems are. She was caring and understanding. I then met Dr. Banchik and she took the time to go over every detail of my symptoms. Dr. Banchik was the first Dr. I have seen in a long time that didn't rush through my visit.

I've been a patient for more than 1 year in this office for headaches. At first I was a little hesitant because the office was so busy and crazy until I met the staff and the doctor. Dr. Banchik placed me on medication for migraines which I thought was little stress headaches and now I do not get them. And who knew I was lactose intolerance and she helped me with that too. This is what a caring physician does and have referred other patients to her and will continue to do so. Thank you for caring
