She spent over an hour with me for a very indepth appt. cheerful, very positive, very sharp.

Waited over 3 hours pass the appointment time. Rude - during examination time took personal phone call that lasted 10 minutes, talking about where boxes should be moved and about dinner - please I dare her to charge my insurance - I started crying, again she was very rude- I walked out - the most unprofessional so called doctor I have ever met - please how do people like her even keep patients???

First it started with a long wait in the waiting room till I got called into the inside room for Dr Cohen. She spoke to me in a very nasty manner & not professional asking questions-each question I answered & or thing I said to explain why I came in for appointment &, my personal issues she questioned me or gave me a look like really like I was lying. I told her about 1 1/2 yrs. ago about a car accident I had & then said I was-was feeling better & now I have different issues-she very rudely said â??Did the car accident settle & closeâ??, I said yes & then she said when I got the money did the money make me feel better (rude), She asked me about some tests if I took so I mentioned some test I took not sure of the name &what date; when & where I said Kaiser Permanente Insurance said she never heard of that insurance she got upset with me, stopped typing, threw up her hands, shook her head and said she would put down in her notes whatever and question mark down. She then asked… me to put my foot on a stool -said I can't lift my foot & looked at me & said ok like I was lying she will do this little test with my foot on the floor. If I didn't answer fast enough said & motioned with her hand & head answer it would be nice if I could answer in this century-nasty. I mentioned something & she said she did go to school. She made me very nervous I felt like saying-but I didn't you should of been an interrogating attorney in a crime case rather that a Nerologist specialty Dr.-no caring, feeling, or empathy for her patients .I dropped a MRI disc. on the floor along with her making me nervous & asked her if she wouldn't mind picking it up for me I can't because I have a bad back and said she also has a bad back it hurts too. I asked her about the tear listed in my paperwork & she yelled where & said what tear-like there wasn't any & I said there was. I couldnâ??t find it at the time but I did find it later, After scheduling the nerve conduction test and follow up test and left the office I called in next day to ask who does the nerve conduction test if it was Dr.Cohen I would like to have a different Dr. do the test said I can't switch around Dr's like that-then did make change. I got a call, a message on my voice mail & person said the newly scheduled Dr.Yu was not confortable with seeing me because Dr. Cohen discharge me & not wanting to see me-its the other way around Dr.must of bad mouthed me & didn't give me a chance to make my complaint; knowing I didn't want her anymore. Then if that's not enough I got a certified letter sent me that I didn't yet pick up. Note in other notes I noticed letter's like this was sent out before.I understand Dr's have the right to refuse service to any patient but the one that didn't want to see me I didn't even see yet he was taking an other Dr's word for this .I heard of bad day's-but this was the worst day for me. Even when my appointment was over on my visit a staff member when I was looking for the Dr.who quickly left the room slipped away fast & talked to me with her back to me I asked where did the Dr. go said she is so loud I could her where she is. Like I said loud, bossy, rude,attitue etc. Can't see how anyone would like to be abused by her or that she even could be nice to her patients?

I wish I'd read the reviews before I underwent all kinds of expensive tests and consultations with her. I found her attitude towards me to be very rude, although I don't believe I had done anything to warrant such behavior. The information she offered me came only as the result of questions I asked. She offered very little information of her own initiative. I'm changing doctors, and checking on what she has charged to my insurance provider to be sure it bears some resemblance to the service she actually provided.

I know that all doctors are different, and not every doctor is a match for every patient, but I was SO glad to read other reviews about Dr. Cohen's bedside manner that match what I've been experiencing! The texting, talking over you and not listening, the bossy attitude. Most recently she all but told me that I was lying, when I was reading off my pain diary to her. Thanks doc. In trying to determine what is happening with my body I have been very frustrated, scared and upset - and she's not helping. Changing doctors as soon as my insurance lets me.

Dr. Cohen cares very much about her patients. She spends a lot of time with her patients. She's very knowledgeable.

I am not sure about the other reviews I saw here. I have seen Dr. Cohen for the last 3 years and in my opinion she is terrific. She diagnosed my problem right away and started a treatment plan which has worked. She is very caring and compassionate. It is true that sometimes there is a bit of a wait to see her, but believe me- it is worry it! I would (and have) recommend her to anyone who needs a neurologist.

One of the worst doctors I've ever seen. Disorganized, bossy, has poor communication skills, and worst of all, very unknowledgeable. All she does is to type up whatever you say on the keyboard. Keeps interrupting you as you talk; won't let you finish. Keeps leaving the room as you try to describe your symptoms or other details to her. Talks back to you in not a very polite way. Talks very loudly, like she's yelling at you. Hard to see her smile. Couldn't diagnose what was wrong with me and decided to refer me to a different area specialist. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this doctor -save both the trip and the money.
