Dr. Lisa Anne Fisher, MD

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Fisher. She was unmoved and rude when it came to my exam and dismissive when I came to her with concerns about my uterine cysts and unhelpful with trying to explain the steps of diagnosing my potential endometriosis. I have a lot of anxiety with pelvic exams and she didn’t care or try to make the process any easier. I would never recommend her to anyone if you have these issues. The front office girls were great though and I cannot speak for the other doctor but if you are uneasy about the gynecologist, I would never go to Dr. Fisher as she would discourage lots of people from getting the care needed.

I loved this Dr. Yes she is not warm and bubbly but she knows her stuff and knows when to take things seriously and when to ignore, that's what I look in a doctor. During my pregnancy I had utrine notching and she took that seriously but when I complained about cramps etc.. she brushed it off and said it happens drink lot of fluid.. This attitude helps patient like me not getting tensed on minor issues. During my delivery the on-call dr said we need to go for 'C' section as baby heart rate is dropping. We were all set for the C-Section, dressed etc.. but she came and said C-Section is not needed and I had a normal delivery. She could have happily earned few bucks by agreeing to on-call doc but she chose to be ethical, this is what I look in a doc..

Dr. Fisher is worth waiting for. Sometimes you get right in very near your appointment time, sometimes you must wait. Best to try to get the earliest a.m. appointment. When you wait, rest assured it's because she is counseling another patient, and you will also have your chance. I'd rather wait than get my alloted three minutes and be shoved out the door. Once I got to my appointment only to be asked, very nicely, if I minded rescheduling because the doctor had to run across the parking lot to the hospital for an emergency. Of course not! Remember, one day it could be YOUR emergency. Truly, she has a busy practice, but will take time with you if you want and need it.

She is not the biggest talker, but will answer every question that you have. She is an excellent doctor, and did a great job delivering my son. I have a lot of trust in her. Give her a try!

I would recommend her to everyone and would trust her with everything. She is a great doctor. I was very happy with everything and I still go to her.
