Dr. Lisa Nash

Dr. Nash breezed into the exam room with a huge smile, which completely faded after she closed the door. I don’t know if it was my visible age which turned her off or her general lack of interest. She spent 3 minutes with me. (I timed it, so that is accurate.) She drew on a copy of my x-ray, explaining the details of thumb surgery. She stated that there was no other fix for my problem and emphasized the difficulty of the surgery and its extended rehabilitation period. There was no mention of any kind of therapeutic treatment, like heat, cold, exercise, splints, massage, and so forth. She was cold, quick, and entirely unhelpful. If her goal was to prevent my visiting her again, she completely succeeded. I can’t recommend her for hand and finger arthritis and I doubt she would be effective with patients needing help for any medical condition.

She’s very professional, I highly recommend.

Dr. Nash is a wonderful, personable Doctor. My major complaint is pain management. I was involved in an accident which resulted in two injuries - each causing severe pain allowing me not to sleep. We are still in the process of determining the severity of one of my injuries and yet she will NOT prescribe ANY pain meds. Additionally, she is requesting I undergo a Nuclear Medicine treatment which can cause extreme anxiety for me. For this, it was recommended by the facility she prescribe something to calm me during the procedure. She has refused to do so. Consequently, I have no choice but to cancel the procedure and seek a more empathetic Doctor for further treatment as I have not slept through the night since the onset of the accident.
