Dr. McFerran is very professional, very capable. He answered mine and my wife's questions directly. He performed two (2) hip replacements on me (3 months apart). I am very pleased with my new mobility without pain. Dr. McFerran took GOOD care of me.

While egocentric and aloof, Dr. McFerran seems highly skilled and competent. He certainly has considerable experience and background training. Diagnostics may be somewhat rushed because of this, and should be confirmed with additional tests. This does not inspire patient confidence. Follow up is also rushed, assuming 100% patient trust without adequate communication. Whether these personality traits are reflected in his ability as a surgeon is unknown, yet might give one pause. Nonetheless, one should seemingly expect above average results based on my experience.
