Dr. Mark David Grossnickle, MD

Saw him for a couple years. Was misdiagnosed with serious back infection. He tossed tylenol at me told me nothing wrong. I told multiple drs what I felt was wrong. Had to have my husband accompany me to another appt to convince dr. I needed another ct scan. Finally got care after i got results myself. Another time he was on call and let me lay in hospital for 2 days before scheduling OR to put my dislocated hip back in. WHAT! Are you nuts. Get me outa here.

He should not be able to be practing. He didnt give correct diagnosis. I was so glad we fot a second opinion!

Based on other reviews I was leery of going to Dr. Grossnickel, but I was pleasantly surprised. He has a good bedside manner and took a lot more time to talk to me than I had expected. He didn't try and force me into anything I didn't want and answered all my questions. Very pleased and would go back to him.

He did a hip replacement on my mother and broke the hip during the surgery. She has had problems with her hip ever since, the wires used to keep the bone together bother her all the time and she has limped every since the surgery. She does not recommend Dr. Grossnickle.

Appointments are not on schedule but well worth the wait.

Worst place ever. 5 days post op out of meds call and he's not available. Nurse says there's. Nothing they can do so if you have surgery you will suffer with the pain. Shop around you will suffer if not.

He's all about the billing. First appointment, he reviewed the x-ray and cast the fracture. He tells us 8 weeks to heal. Second appointment a week later, he took a x-ray through the cast and told us to come back in a month to cut cast off and x-ray again and if its not fully healed, cast it again. That would be the 5 or 6 week mark and at least two weeks shy of the amount of time he said it would take to heal. Why cut off the cast for a x-ray if you can take one with it on?!? Maybe the extra few hundred in billing?

He seemed like a nice caring doctor at first and the doctor said I needed a simple knee surgery that would relieve my knee pain and would be back to work and life in a few weeks. My knee didn't function right after surgery and kept going back to see the doctor and he said everything was okay but I never got better. I despised to go see another doctor for a second opinion and come to find out he did more damage to my knee then anything. Please do your research on doctors before going under the knife. I really don't know how he's still in business!!!!!!

Would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He messed up my knee when he did my surgery and has done the same things to his other patients as well.
