Dr. Lisa Renee Petersen, OD

Please read regarding LISA R PETERSEN, OD I've had some great experiences with Kaiser doctors and staff throughout the years, unfortunately Lisa R Petersen, OD is not one of them. Very abrasive and completely unprofessional. When I expressed I thought there would be more of a conversation regarding care options her response was "Why the attitude? You don't like your condition, move to Florida" she went on to say "What we're doing is working, I can give you a referral but I 110% guarantee you they won't do anything for you... you can leave now" I was completely caught off guard by her lack of professionalism, at no point did I raise my voice or argue (as she suggested in her post meeting comments and she lied saying she gave me paperwork and post visit instructions, she did not) I literally said I was "disappointed" in the exchange and was told to leave as she muttered "I'm not doing this" Most people write negative reviews in anger and it can be perceived as unreliable or you… question the credibility of the review. All I can say is I felt compelled to share this information for anyone wanting to find and trust someone to care for their eyes. This doctor may be knowledgeable and perhaps even accomplished but if you want someone empathetic or with a good bedside manner and you don't plan on "moving to Florida" and would like to find help here, I'd advise looking elsewhere and consider another healthcare professional.
