Dr. Lisa Ann Reichert, MD

I would give Dr. Lisa zero stars if I could. She is a nasty individual who doesn't know how to keep her repulsive comments to herself about CHILDREN.

We just transferred our children to Wheatfield Pediatrics and they assured us that if our children got sick throughout the transition process, that it would be no issue getting a sick visit. Well, my 1yr old got sick. We had her tested for Covid and it came back negative. She started getting a fever 10 days ago. We were concerned one evening about her fever being so high, so we decided to go to Pediatric Immediate care. (This was in the evening and past office hours of Wheatfield Pediatrics.) When we got home later that evening, I still had some questions that were left unanswered so we called Wheatfield Pediatrics answering service (since it was around 9:00pm) and awaited their call back from one of their providers. A “doctor” named Lisa Reichert returned our call and I was immediately met with hostility and was lectured how I did foolish thing taking my baby to immediate care for treatment because my child may have Covid and I put all other patients, doctors, and staff at risk. I… simply replied with “I’m sorry, but I cannot help feel like I’m receiving a bit of sass for just trying to help my sick baby”. Reichert proceeded to lecture and belittle me that I did the wrong thing for taking my baby to immediate care and how I should have called them first and that was pretty much the end of the call. I’m sorry that I wanted my baby seen by a doctor? I was concerned she had an ear infection or something since her fevers wouldn’t go away… Fast forward a few days later and my daughter’s condition started to worsen. Her fever still hasn’t improved and she stopped eating. So I did as the doctor said and called Wheatfield Pediatrics first before going to Immediate Care. The nurse told me “I’m sorry, but because you’re a new patient, and haven’t had a well visit yet, we cannot offer any advice through the phone. (Even though we already had a few days prior). When I asked if we could please schedule a sick visit, she told me “No, because of the risk of Covid exposure. Even though your child tested negative”. That “we need to go get treatment at Immediate Care instead”. I expressed my frustrations that this is exactly the opposite of what Reichert told us on the phone a few nights prior. How can a pediatrician deny treatment and care for one of their patients? Well, fast forward now to yesterday, and doing as the nurse said, we were back at Pediatric Immediate Care because my baby was still getting worse. She has now stopped drinking much. We told them our situation and how our pediatrician is refusing us treatment. They even said that is completely negligent, unethical and we need to find a new pediatrician. After checking my baby over and reviewing the many tests that have been done on her to determine what is going on, we were told we should have our pediatrician get us a referral to an infectious disease doctor to see if they can help since they have used all their resources available to help. I called Wheatfield Pediatrics and asked for a referral and we were told that they dropped my children as their patients because Reichert didn’t like the phone call we had a few nights prior and will no longer help our child. The fact that Lisa Reichert’s ego was so fragile and so damaged by the word “sass” that she made Wheatfield Pediatrics drop my children as their patients is absolutely pathetic and completely negligent and unethical. To refuse a sick baby treatment is completely and unbelievably ridiculous. That woman should NOT be a doctor. Her precious ego was so hurt, that she is willing to put the health of a baby in jeopardy. This has been without a doubt, the WORST experience I have ever received in healthcare regarding my children and the worst doctor I have ever experienced, period! My baby continues to suffer and Wheatfield Pediatrics couldn’t care less. They’re going to kick a baby to the curb while they’re very sick and not even wait until my baby is better first?!?! How much more cruel can anyone get?

Dr. Tolini made my girls feel completely comfortable to ask questions and during exams. She spoke to the children in a repectful way. They were so sad to hear that she left our office. She is worth the greater drive to continue as her patient!
