Dr. Lisa Marie Valle, DO

She left placenta in me after a c section and I almost died when she and UCLA ignored me for 11 weeks.

It’s been quiet some years, but I feel compelled to write this review since I happen to see her name in the media recently. I will begin saying she has horrible bedside manners. The way she speaks to you is very condescending, her tone lacks empathy. I had two miscarriages under her care and she was very unbothered. Not offering a solution or even a comforting message. I made a huge mistake switching to her after a friend of mine referred her. I shouldn’t have listened to my friend. Luckily I listened to my intuition and left her after the second miscarriage to go back to my original OB who btw is amazing and I was able to get pregnant with my rainbow baby. Fast forward 4 years and I’m in the hospital in labor with my second baby. Guess who come waltzing in, yup. Sweet, endearing, Dr. Valle. Unfortunately she was on rotation and my original OB was not scheduled to come in yet. The minute I saw her I knew I was going to have a hard time but I was wrong, she didn’t do much. She checked… me a couple of times, spoke with the nurses and left. Ohh and also left all the obstetric tools uncovered after I think she used one on me. By the grace of God, my original OB comes in right in time to push and notices all the tools and mess. Shaking her head she immediately demands for clean tools and I went off to have a healthy baby. During a woman’s most vulnerable time of her life, it’s essential to have a supportive team. Having a doctor who listens, is empathetic and who makes the effort makes the journey so worthwhile. Even if it’s mundane for she/he. It’s those little efforts that mean the world to us women. I do hope that Dr. Valle has changed and now makes an effort to listen to her patients but I will never refer her to anyone.

Horrific patient bedside manners, lack of empathy, and money hungry. Never gave solutions or answers to issues described. Condescending and only concerned about scheduling a next appointment for profit. Would never recommend to any woman in a vulnerable position who seeks answers about her vulvolydnia and hormone-related issues.

Worst GYNO experience I have EVER had. 1st I went in for a consultation for an IUD-she could not have been less present, helpful & knowledgeable. She had clearly just memorized some major points from the pamphlet Mirena had sent her. I had to go home and do my own research. Ended up making the appointment to get the procedure done, and she kept me waiting even though the office was completely empty. She came in after a while, RUSHED, spastic, not a warm greeting, nothing, even though I had expressed how super nervous I was. She responded by quickly telling everything that could go wrong, started the procedure, harshly and rapidly, not talking me through ANYTHING that she was doing until I finally screamed in pain and asked her to please slow down and talk me through what she was doing. She said she would, but she proceeded to do exactly what she'd been doing. My anxiety sky rocketed when she seemed confused about how to insert the device. Cold, harsh, insensitive, inexperienced- AVOID!

She does not care and is moody at times. I waited for her for an average of 45 mins past my appointment time so she could spend 5 minutes of her time. Terrible doctor and VERY bad experience. I would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone.

Lisa Valle was the worst doctor I had ever been to. Her bed side manner was awful! I would not refer my worst enemy to her! Former Patient

Dr. Valle delivered my second child and helped me during the first trimester of my third child, whom I lost at approx. 14 weeks. Therefore, I have well over 15 visits with her, if not more to speak intelligently of my overal experience. She is cordial, professional and spends quality time with you. She comes off a little "dry" to me and doesnt seem passionate about her job. My biggest problem with her is puncuality! I am not talking 15 minutes late, on average my wait time both in the waiting room and exam room was close to an hour, if not longer until I would see her. Mind you, I would book always the first appointment of the day (morning or after lunch). Know that this office double/ triple book their appointments. Additionally, the office is overwhelming busy, stuffy and needs updating. I will not say the staff is excellent, but systematic in their approach to client servicing. They are kind but definately overwhelmed. I would have not changed my OB/GYN if it was not for… the above fore mentioned. Punctuality is a respect paid to patients who give you their business.
