Dr. Lisa Jonyne Wasemiller-Smith, MD

Dr. Wassmiller-Smith is a doctor I will NEVER forget. She was my OBGYN when I gave birth to my last baby (of 4), who is now 38 years old. She advocated for me during my difficult pregnancy. She encouraged me. I've been wanting to tell her thank you all of these years. I have a photo of her holding my son. Hopefully someday I can show her how the baby she helped me bring into this world has done. He's now a military veteran and just an awesome man with his own child.There were times the pregnancy was in jeopardy. Her kindness and care is part of who she is. I see in these current reviews, that she is still who she was then; consistent. God bless you Dr.Lisa!!

Dr. Lisa delivered both of my boys at Deaconess Hospital. I love her and she makes you feel comfortable. With my second son I had some issues and she quickly got me into the OR for a C-Section.

I love love love Dr. Lisa and her staff. Would never consider going anywhere else, yes she is very busy but will spend the time with you too at your appointment . She has delivered two of my three kids, would of delivered all three if I would of known her 30 years ago. My daughter is a patient also and would not consider going anywhere else, Dr. Lisa delivered my two Grandkids too.

I would not recommend Dr. Lisa Wasemiller-Smith or her staff to anyone. They are rude and make you feel like an idiot. I had to switch doctors because I am high risk and I recently got a bill for phone calls I made while I was a patient with her. When I did call her staff made me feel like I should know the answer to my questions. I am so greatful for the doctor and facility I have now! My whole family was patients at lakeside and now we are all happily with mercy and will never go back!

I have had nothing but amazing experiences with this physician and her staff. I had never had a pap-smear when I found out I was pregnant and so I was obviously nervous for all that was to come, they all made me feel right at home. I had a lot of complications with my pregnancy and if it weren't for Dr. Lisa and her staff I don't think I would have my beautiful daughter today. I disagree with an earlier review about the staff being rude to young people, I was 16 when I had my daughter and I was treated with respect and understanding despite my age. I never once felt that I was out of place in that office.My one and only complaint is the number of c-sections performed in the entirety of Lakeside Women's Hospital, more than half of births are done by c-section, so I suggest delivering at Mercy instead. The nursing staff in the hospital itself was awful, made me cry several times, and at one point tried to take my baby out of the room because they thought I needed sleep. So again deliver… at Mercy.

I cannot brag on Dr. Lisa and her staff enough. Zella and Pam are so sweet and nice and will bend over backwards to help in any way they can. I must admit, Linda is one of my favorite people in the world! I love how Dr. Lisa will sit and chat with you and not just rush you through, she really cares about her patients. You can't ask for a better OB/GYN experience.

I can not rate her high enough. She is amazing. It is hard to get appointments, but considering how busy she is and how I would NEVER leave her, I do not mind at all. If there is a real issue she works you in
