Dr. Lita Rosa Calagua-Solis, MD

My visit was the first and last visit with the doctor. Apparently, I asked too many questions that interfered with her stonewalling me about the mistakes in my diagnosis, so she sent me a letter firing me as a patient. I think she did me a favor.

She is not professional, too much too said in here , do yourself a favor and look for another doctor she does not know how is to care for somebody ill.

Have visited this office a few times. Dr. Calagua seems to have the intrests of the students ahead of the actual patient. She lacks any real interaction with the patient. She can never answer an real questions about the condition that your there for treatment. She spends 5 mins or less with you. For someone to have a speciality with how the Brain works and how’s conditions/ diseases can affect a person she certainly does not share any information on what to expect or what is even currently happening. No empathy or even compassion. Never once looked at my mother in law and asked how she was doing. How can you gauge a patient if you never truly interact with them. The way she speaks to you is like she rather not waste her breath speaking. You choose to serve the public and be a vessel to help, yet you treat us the patient/ care givers as if we are wasting your valuable time. I have spoke to a student more than I have even spoke to Dr. Calagua. Her communication between your primary and… where your sent for "her" special testing is never simple. Something is always lost, or never followed up on. She even sends out information from her office and then forget that that was even sent. Seems very disorganized to to me. She never real listen to the concerns of the patient, and just say what she want to see happen. They needs to e medium, or an agreement on where the care should be progressing to I’d thats even possible ... if you go to Dr. Calagua Don’t expect that to happen.

The Dr. did less of a neurology exam on me than my general practitioner did. Didn't explain to me why she was sending me for imaging or what the problem could be. They told me they would call me to schedule my imaging. It has been 5 days now, and they still have not called me or returned my calls to make that appointment for me. The Med student said to me, after finding out I was in med school, that we all think that we have something wrong when we are in school learning about conditions. This to me implied that she thought I was either making up or over exaggerating my symptoms that had been occurring for over a year. This was very upsetting to me. The only good I experienced out of this practice, was being seen on time for my appointment.

Just left this same review on another site hoping to help other sick people like me avoid the horrible experience of having to meet Dr. Calagua!! Her receptionist is one of the friendliest and most efficient ones I've met but Dr. Calagua's a whole different story! She's the rudest and LESS CARING medical professional I've ever met in my life!!! I only saw her one time but she rarely looked at me, she never smiled, she made me feel like I was a problem for her, she'd interrupt me and not let me finish explaining my symptoms, I wasn't able to tell her my whole story and in 15-20 mins I was done. I'M NEVER SEEING HER AGAIN!!!
