Dr. Livia Coral Gadea, MD

I was recommended to Dr. Gadea by a family member. Her exact words were “she’s incredible and you can get an appointment quickly.” Fast forward, I suffered a major medical issue and went to see Dr. Gadea once released from the hospital. Dr. Gadea educated my aunt and I on my condition, educated us on how to live with it and structured a medicine plan which all made sense. She’s very detailed and wonderful! I recommend her wholeheartedly!

This is one of the worst office i’ve ever seen! They barely speak English , when you call to make an appointment they just tell you to come in now, making it sound like there are no other patients and then when you get there the office is full!! On top of that, when i was told to come in “now” at check out they wanted to charge me $45 extra for an emergency appointment!! I was like what?! YOU told me to come in now, i had no rush and no emergency! Talking about charging, the receptionist ALWAYS tries to overcharge me! My co payment is $25, very simple. She always tries to add stuff to charge me more. They do a horrible job with getting things done with insurance, labs and prescriptions. Everything takes for ever! I’m still waiting for my lab results for over one week now! And when i call the answer is the doctor hasn’t put it in the system yet. That’s just unprofessional. I’ve been seeing her for the same issue for about 6 months now and she has not been able to help me at all and… i feel like i just wasted my time and money with her and her unprofessional staff. I’ll get my lab results and will take them to another doctor!

I started going to the Dra last year and I didn’t like her because she told me everything I didn’t want know once again and in a very polite way she pad my shoulder and said “ you won’t make it at this pace I want you here with us” she was serious about her job and determine about the message ...Change some pills gave me great advice and nurses call me to follow up on all appointment ... Talk about inept! I came here for a simple Pap test, and it took forever. After I was sitting in the cold room in nothing but a paper dress, the doctor decided to take over one hour trying to verify exactly what my insurance would cover. She claimed she just wanted to make sure insurance would cover it. After she finally did the test, I was unpleasantly surprised to find that insurance does not cover her outrageous office visit fee. To add insult to injury, once the results came in, she refused to tell me what was going on unless I came in and subjected myself to yet another office visit charge. She told me the results are "too complicated" to explain over the phone, as if being there in person somehow makes me more able to understand her. I made an appointment with another OBGYN just to read the results of my pap, and now I can't get the records sent over. Do not subject yourself to this! Go anywhere else, these people are absolutely ridiculous.

My doctor takes time to have a conversation and assess not only my physical needs but also psychosocial. She has that therapeutic touch.

Livia is an old school doctor, somebody that genuinely care about her patients. Her bed mamners are very good and she will follow up with you on every single issue.
