Lloyd B. Gayle, MD

Dr Gayle is a wonderful doctor in every possible way. Not only is he a highly competent surgeon, he is a great communicator, a caring doctor and a fantastic human being. I can't recommend him enough.

More concerned about how much he can bill the patient / charge the insurance company, than how he can improve patient outcomes and minimize risk to the patient's life. Classic plastic surgeon. $$$$ > Humanity.

I see Dr. Gayle every 3-4 months to have Botox put in for the wrinkles in my forehead. He's super friendly and very gentle with the needle.

Insanely overpriced. My results look poorly executed. I do not recommend.

Too much money

I have never written a review for a doctor before, but now I feel compelled to write one for Dr. Lloyd B. Gayle. For over two years, I've had a problem with my leg that none of my doctors knew how to properly treat. I was fortunate enough to have been referred to him for this ongoing issue. Dr. Gayle immediately knew what to do and within two months from my first visit, I am completely cured. Not only is Dr. Gayle kind and caring, but above all he is extremely competent. Anyone who is a patient of his is indeed very fortunate. In addition, his staff has always been very helpful. Thank you, Dr. Gayle. I will always be grateful to you.

No other doctor has ever made me feel as calm and relaxed as he does. He treats you like a person not just a another patient. He took his time explaining the various procedure options I had. He answered all of my questions in depth and reassured me all would be fine. My end result was exactly how he explained and I was very happy. In my opinion, he is one of the greatest doctors ever and I would highly recommend him. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait but he is well worth it!

Dr. Gayle spent a considerable amount of time with me describing my surgery and answering my (many) questions. I appreciated his ability to explain the procedure in layman's terms without sounding condescending. Two questions below not answered because: This was my initial visit; I was referred to Dr. Gayle by another physician who made the initial diagnosis.

Went to him in 2011 for revision breast lift. Left me with a HORRIBLE inframmary scar and terribly assymetric. Agreed to do another revision for $6000 more. I had already paid him $11,000 for the first revision!!! Avoid this ripoff artist.

Love him, He is by far the best dr in NY saved my life in so many ways great person as well.
