Dr. Lori Ann Travers, MD

My vision is significantly worse after Dr Travers did the PRK surgery. She did not participate in an post surgery visits and spent very little time before the surgery.

I am so impressed with Dr. Travers and her entire staff. I had LASIK yesterday and couldn’t be happier. Dr. Travers talked me through the procedure, which only took minutes. She and her staff have treated me like family, they are professional, yet very kind and considerate. I highly recommend Dr. Travers to anyone considering vision correction- she actually performed my husband’s procedure three years ago, our family trusts her and her staff.

The entire experience was easy, efficient and successful. I had been told by my ophthalmologist that I wasn't a candidate because of a slight astigmatism (yeah, right). My progressive lens glasses weren't helpful at all. My husband had already been to Dr. Travers and was very pleased with his results, so I decided to schedule an appointment to see if I was a candidate. Everyone in the office was so nice, professional and helpful. I WAS a candidate and my results have been great. So glad I made the decision to go to Dr. Travers.

After going to several consults and comparing each one i made my decision based on comfort, expertise and pricing (somewhat.) I went to 5 consults including one with Travers. Two of them were with these national chain types of places that were immediately sales driven. The staff seemed all to willing to omit that they were performing bladed procedures and that their surgeon would not be local. The other two were more expensive and i didn't like the overall cold demeanor of staff and doctors. Travers' office was amazing from start to finish. The exam was the most thorough of them all. It was free and there was no pressure when I wasn't going to be scheduling right away. I met Dr Travers in the office and reviewed my exam information with her. She was very warm and remembered personal aspects about me when we met again on surgery day. I found her to be very personable. It has been 6 months since my procedure and I have been thrilled with my results. I cannot say enough nice… things.

Terrible bedside manner, you can tell she only cares about herself and you are just a number. Also, while the appointment may have been easy to make I waited an hour and 15 minutes past my allotted time for an incorrect diagnosis. All around negative experience.

Upon researching about LASIK I stumbled across seemed like more negative testimonies via the Internet. I recently went in this passed Friday! The staff don't make you sit around all day--- they are straight to the point. I only seen Dr. Travers once and that was during the surgery; however, she guided me perfectly once I met her. I am going into day 5 since my surgery and I am very glad I chose Dr. travers and team.

Never knew this surgery was so easy! Would have done it years ago! Lori and her staff are incredibly professional and you can tell they've been doing it for years!

Okay, only saw the doc for the actual procedure. Would have been nice to have met her before.

My story is way to long to tell about the horrible experience I had with this Dr. From day one things went wrong and just snowballed till the end. I had to sue Dr, Travers for a few different things and a few days before our court date she settled out of court for the full amount I was seeking. I highly recommend you search around before choosing Dr. Travers.

I did a lot of research in the area before I picked Travers Lasik. I read some good reviews online and now I see why. The staff is amazing, I like them better than the staff at TLC. I had astigmatism that caused fatigue while driving or working on the computer when I wore glasses. Toric contact lenses never worked for me. I hated wearing glasses while golfing or on the boat at the beach. They would fog up and I couldnt see. After my experience at Travers Lasik I had instant vision improvement. Less than 24 hours after surgery my eyes feel fine. I could read road signs clearly for the first time without glasses! I had to get glasses in 1992 when I realized I could not read the chalkboard in college. What a life-changing experience, and Travers was the perfect place to have that experience.
