Dr. Lorin Glen Holst, MD

I will make this short and sweet. I think Dr. Holst is a miracle worker. He is kind and caring but yet stern and expects improvement and change as you grow in your sobriety and new way of thinking and living. He is a man with very high morals and values and has a way that makes you want and feel as is you deserve his respect. I have slipped a couple of times during my time as his patient and he did not give up on me or treat me harshly. He absoutely knows his patients that are truly trying to become the person he tells us we can be and live the life that goes along with becoming that person between the ones that are there but their hearts are not completely there to receive that amazing miracle. And I want to take this opportunity to tell anyone that will listen that if you are truly ready to seek sobriety and the amazing life that comes with that you will never find another Dr that will help you achieve that goal or one that will care and give you the tools and the desire to want that… life and then you will desire and strive to gain his trust, his respect and the proud feelings he will give you. Well so much for short and sweet but the words seem to flow when your talking about a Dr and a human that saved my life then continues to save life, my heart and my soul with each and every visit.

This doctor also treats me at the Va and he has always done an excellent job. (I suspect that the Veteran who complained to his Congressman is one who complains about everthing that doesn't go his way. I have seen many of these complainers over my years at the Va.) I am greatful for the outstanding care I receive at the Va under Dr. Holst. He is caring as well as very bright.

Dr. Holst has done an excellent job of caring for my father and our family has appreciated the time he has taken with us to explain things in a way that can be clearly understood.

This is one Doctor who not only was not qualified to handle my several critical Medical issues and make referals but was 100% wrong with the ones I did pry out of him with the help of my Congressman!!
