Dr. Louis M Edelson, MD

I'm so unhappy with this Dr. One thing good about him is he responds to email fast. When I tell this Dr my symptoms, he tells me... there's nothing much I can do about that... or last response was... you have to go the ER for that... As a pt, you are looking for some treatment or at least guidance or referral. If you can't help me, at least refer me to someone who can provide proper care.... besides the ER who will just give me pain meds to get rid of me.

I went to this doctor many years ago at Kaiser for an exam for life insurance when I started a new job. I told him that as a child they had heard a heart murmur for me and that my father had died of a heart problem. He ignored my family history and did not tests on me. Instead of an exam, he had me take off my clothes and he measured the size of my rectum, then sent me away after 10 minutes. I needed the insurance for the job, so I ignored this horrible behavior, but I would suggest that this Dr not be rated highly for male patients.
