Dr Provenza is such a great Doctor. He preformed a robotic surgery on the T11 and T12 areas of my spine and I have had a fantastic recovery with no complications. He has done a great job with my follow ups and after care also to make sure my healing is on track.

Back in Slidell, where I’ve been told that he got kicked out of for prescribing too many drugs, Dr Proveza did back surgery on me and totally ruined my back. I’ve been to other doctors after that and the first thing they ask me is “ Who did this surgery?” I got hooked on all the medications he prescribed to me but, thankfully, have been clean and sober for 4 years, ever since he left town! As a person, he was very nice, but, as a doctor, he’s a butcher!

This doctor is one who listens and cares for his patients like no other. Our entire family is grateful to this fine, sensitive and knowledgeable surgeon who is taking such good care of our loved one.

When I saw Dr Provenza it was for a second opinion. I had been told by another Dr in town that I would be paralyzed if I didn't have surgery immediately. Dr Provenza listened very closely & reviewed all my scans. He recommend physical therapy before rushing to surgery. Within a few weeks I was so much better! He said I might need surgery down the road, but not now. Thank goodness I got a second opinion from him. Great Dr

Prescribed over 200 codiene and opiate pain pills a month while I was bed ridden for 5 years, got my insurance to pay him and then run me off and sent letter to SSI I was able to work, when my sgot was 985, with not 1 blood test, made my liver toxic. Told me I would be paralized for life if I pick up 5 lbs and then when insurance paid off to him he sent me back to work and SSI shut my benefits off and I lost my benefits for life because if you don't start back paying in you lose SSI, this is a insurance doctor and cares nothing for the patient, he plays both sides of the fence. Bed ridden in mississippi now for 20 years, and SSI won't pay me. He needs to be in jail , he also beat me up in the emergency room my last visit which is aggravated assault. Up to the summer of 1988 I paid in to SSI and now cannot get disability. I will be sending my story to licence bureau.

Dr.Provenza put in a rod, cage, and screws as a result of an automobile accident. I sufferred terribly until he fixed it- and he did wonderfully. Unfortunately, Katrina struck 4 months later and needs redoing. I would be wary letting just anyone work on my spine, but he's got my vote!
