Sad to say, I reviewed & did my DD on his prior reviews, & was very mistaken. The visit before the surgery went well, great personality & professional for certain. I went in for basic arthroscopic surgery, because of pain raising my pants up & pain while sleeping. When I went in to go over my surgery,I was told that there were a couple of ligaments that were not damaged enough so he stitched them up & left them alone. Well, this may of been the issue since I still cant pull up my GD pants & Cant sleep good (as a matter of fact , now I hardly sleep because of the pain). For God's sake stay away unless you want to get more surgeries like I need to schedule. More than one star would be criminal to give & KARMA back at him for what he did to my shoulder (this is almost 1 year later from the surgery that I am posting this)...... BTW: I met some unfortunate man in Physical Therapy that had total reconstruction of his shoulder & was unable to move his arm over one year after the… surgery (he stated he had the same surgery with another doctor on the other shoulder & it went extremely well unlike with Dr Re. God Bless & lots of luck (I hope I can help someone to avoid this pain that Im in).

He'd refused the scheduled knee surgery , reason for that was : I didn’t provide my support after the operation - I AM REALLY A FULLY LONELY MAN !!! The final opinion abut Louis Re : He has psychological problems , - Psychopath or his personality is a suffering from psychoneurotic syndrome . I'm old guy and got my MD diploma almost 50 years ago , - I know the field . sincerely , Oleg Gregory Voronkoff

Doctor Re fix both my Knees and one of my shoulders. he also fixed my wife,s shoulder. he is very nices, speak and explain's your problem very clearly. he is NOT a cut happy surgeon and will try anything he can 1st to avoid surgery. he is good at being honest and clear about what your issues are and then presenting your options. I have been going to him for 17 years. My mother in law had a broken hand and the partner Dr. in his office fixed it and it is perfect now.

Waited and waited in his office, then waited and waited in the room, got my shoulder X-rayed, diagnosed torn tendons, sent me for MRIs for further investigation, they showed no damage to tendons, denies his initial diagnosis. Save yourself go somewhere else. Negligent, incompetent, arrogant.

This guy is the worst. He is dangerous and should have his license revoked. My doctors were shocked at his level of negligence. Do not let this creep touch you. He injected massive of doses of medication that he was well aware from my other doctors I could not have. He lied about the type of medication and dosing. My physicians were all shocked as to why this man would give me the drug to begin with when he knew I could not have it much less inject massive overdoses that would harm an elephant. I am still physically damaged from his negligence and there is no guarantee I will ever be the same. He is also very insecure and as a result a cocky, arrogant know-it-all. He will lie straight through his crooked teeth. File a State Board report if you believe that this jerk injured you or if you suspect negligence.

Dr. Re is absolutely wonderful! He explained everything he was going to do clearly and was a pleasure to work with. The staff was on point, very prompt , and extremely nice. When I got out of surgery, I felt no pain and I'm on day 2 and still am very comfortable. I have a little pain, but not enough to complain about. Thank you Dr. Re and all of your staff for making a bad situation a pleasant experience.

Dr. Re is smart and efficient. If you need shoulder surgery, he is the best in the field. You know you have the best surgeon when EVERYONE from the admitting staff at the hospital to all prep nurses, when they see you have Dr. Re, ask you how you got him to do surgery because he is the best. I ENJOY his efficient follow up visits. You will love him!!!!

I cannot for the life of me think why there were such vicious and hostile answers. To the contrary both my wife and I found him to be a highly competent surgeon and physician. He is not arrogant, but possesses a great sense of humor,unlike many physicians. He is very eclectic in his practice and does not hesitate to prescribe pain medications, when he considers that to be appropriate. He treats patients with great respect, as well as spending time with the patients. The other surgeons are all very competent and patient friendly, as well. The office staff are a joy to deal with as well. Those hostile reviews, I suspect, have either been written by the same persons, under different names, or they are simply narcissistic individuals who have no respect for physicians and seem to want to run the show. My experience, my wife's and others, whom I have referred also strongly disagree with the negativism reflected in their " evaluations "

The Best Doctor !

I suffered a broken ankle after falling on an icy sidewalk. I saw Dr. Re a few days after my visit to the emergency room. He took one look at my x-ray and told me surgery was needed which he managed to schedule for the next day. All went well. I saw Dr Re 4 weeks after surgery when my cast was replaced with another and 3 weeks later when my cast was removed completely. I found him to be most professional. I had one question about a post surgical x ray which I found to be answered in a brusque manner. Aside from that, I found him to be most professional and I would recommend him to anyone in need of an orthopedic surgeon.
