Dr. Louise Mae Owen, MD

DR Owen is a great DR..She takes time with you,makes sure you understand what is going on and what you should you do to make your life better..I'M happy to have her as my DR.

Medicine was on back order. I contacted office to see what else they could give me. After a week of waiting on a response Was told ““Ask your Insurance what you can get that is covered or your pharmacy what is preferred and available. Then contact us with the alternative.” I thought they were my doctor not Walgreens.

The PA refused to see my husband who’s had an appt for a month, has been an already established PT who’s a stage 4 cancer pt at Advent Health for the last 7 yrs because he showed up 15 minutes late to his appt time. He was late because of weather, I4 traffic and a new apparent location that he was made aware of when he saw the sign on the door of the old office. Imagine a PA refusing to see a PT in a specialty office... I’m sure he could have been reworked back into the busy schedule. As a matter of fact if the PT really mattered it wouldn’t have been an issue at all. I know this because I work in the Medical field for OH who would never send a PT away. Advent health you use to be amazing what has happened the last couple of years?? We will not be using this office again and are seriously considering leaving our health in your hands much longer!

This was my first visit after not having an endocrinologist for over a decade. My primary doc was managing me and I have been so symptomatic that the fatigue is overwhelming. Primary barked up every tree. Dr Owen spent a huge amount of time, asked a ton of questions and asked me if I needed emotional care. I was not upset, crying but very matter of fact about my symptoms. She picked up my vibe regardless of me sucking it up. She ordered a huge amount of blood work never ordered by my primary. She kept telling me how sorry she was that I was going through all these symptoms. The she asked permission to give me a hug. It took all I had to suck back the tears. What amazing compassion! Some things with autoimmune diseases have few answers. I know that. I have 5 of them. But she was a human being. Even if she barks up ever tree with no answers she is worth every dime I spent and every minute I waited to see her.

Very disappointed that she didn’t take time to really investigate enough. Had to find another.

Dr Owen is a very thorough knowledgeable doctor. She takes time to educate you on your health issues and treatment.. highly recommended. I have had no problems with her staff, insurance billings or excessive wait time.

I've been seeing Dr. Owen for a few years. She is very understanding, patient and helpful. She is very approachable and easy to reach via the portal to help. Her staff are always helpful and fun to chat with.
