Sent my husband home after removing his gallbladder. was told she left a stone that could be removed by a gastrologist. On his first post op visit she came in and said I see you had that stone removed. Ask her what she was talking about....She said I have a report here in your file where you went in and had it removed. My husband said he didn't know who they removed it from but it certainly wasn't him. She said something like oh well you probably passed it but if you turn yellow or get real ill you should go to the Er...The next month he still was hurting and our family Dr sent him to the same Dr that supposedly had removed the stone. He heard our report from Dr Traxler and said he had the same report but he had never seen my husband! He said the stone had to come out and he could not have passed it. He scheduled surgery and removed the stone. I informed MBH. who said they would have it reviewed and did but said the Dr they used to review could have made the same call to not remove… the stone. So 10 months later with pain he has empyema and has had surgery to remove the infection from his liver,lungs and stomach.

I was referred to Dr. Traxler by my primary care physician because I had two huge gallstones. One was in the duct and the other was right behind it. He emphasized it was an emergency and immediately sent me to her. I sat in her waiting room for three hours, and at the end of my wait heard the receptionist arguing with her because Traxler wanted to send me away! I finally saw her and she was extremely rude, she was more interested in going to lunch than talking to me. She wouldn't answer any of my questions and insisted that my gallstones were not serious andI could wait for an appointment. It's been almost 48 hours and no one has contacted me with an appointment. I now have to go to the ER, which I could have done days ago! Everyone has a right to be treated with dignity and respect, this is totally unacceptable.
