Dr. Luis Alfredo Guerrero, MD

I trusted Dr. Guerrero for back pain relief, but his negligence during a routine spinal injection caused catastrophic, irreversible nerve damage. I was forced to abandon my Ph.D. and career, losing everything I worked for. Despite the immense harm he has caused, Dr. Guerrero has made no effort to take responsibility. After I filed a complaint with the medical board and pursued legal action, he fled the state to evade accountability. For years, he actively avoided service, shutting down his practice whenever legal notices were imminent and disappearing without a trace. After an exhaustive search, I found he had resumed practicing in Florida, yet he continues to evade justice, refusing to answer for the devastation he has caused. Dr. Guerrero’s actions are not just negligent—they are criminal. His blatant disregard for patient safety, unethical evasion of… accountability, and the irreparable harm he has inflicted demand serious legal and professional consequences. No patient should have to suffer as I have. If you are considering treatment from Dr. Guerrero, reconsider. Protect yourself—research your providers, seek second opinions, and do not trust a doctor who runs from responsibility.

I am a senior with a history of spinal troubles, procedures and surgeries. I have decades of experience with physicians. I can tell you from experience, Dr. Guerrero is the first of many who actually takes the time to listen, who truly cares, considers options and what he believes would be the best options for me. He is so kind and compassionate. I wish he could be my go to doctor for all of my medical needs. I adore this man. Office waiting times are usually quick. The staff are all so kind and eager to help. He treats me like a son who would treat his mom.

I am 77 yrs old. I have a long history of spinal trouble and surgeries. Dr. G is by far the BEST pain management doctor I've ever seen. He is thorough, knowledgeable and compassionate. He actually LISTENS. He doesn't give up on me. His staff are also very kind and caring and they too listen. I've never had to wait long. I never feel rushed. I adore this doctor and I wish he could take care of all my medical needs.

Always very professional & caring with my mom. He always goes out of his way to do whatever he can to make sure she is ok. A real gem to Lee health.

Dr. G solved my chronic pain problem that I have been having for 10+ years. Several other doctors would only give me medication after medication, Dr. Geurrero listened to my problem, offered me a procedure which he performed and worked wonders to alleviate my pain! Absolutely recommend this doctor. Also phenomenal staff at The Sanctuary.

The commenter who called him boorish was spot-on. I am very frail and disabled and he was hyper-aggressive, almost like he was in the first of a steroid rage. He looked more like a pro wrestler than a physician. He called the police and lied about me, which could ended in tragedy. this man is dangerous and wants more than anything to provoke a fight, even with frail women with progressive MS. I was left traumatized. He wrote falsities on my chart and now I have to drop all my doctors in the LeeHealth network as I am not willing to retraumatize myself by speaking to him again, which I was told I'd have to do to get these LIES off my chart. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, THIS MAN IS A SOCIOPATH, POSSIBLY ON DRUGS, STEROIDS OR OTHER UPPERS!!

Most boorish amateur physician I have ever encountered . Zero social skills , plenty of “ machismo “ . This guy attempted to provoke me into a physical altercation , as I attempted to leave the office he aggressively obstructed my path to the door . I caution anybody who is planning on seeing him , find another doctor .
