Dr Lynda Dao

Dr. Dao is the kindest most compassionate Doctor I've ever experienced. I've been seeing her for 7 years now, and she remembers everything I tell her. She remembers to ask me questions and she is gentle during certain tests that might be traumatic for me. Her nurse Donna is also the most caring woman I know. I even had both my parents and nephew switch to her office after their doctor retired. My dad who hates going to the doctors has never said anything but nice things about Dr. Dao. Your appointments are probably going to start late, but that is because she spends as much time as a patient needs with them. If she is late, it's because she is helping another patient. She will spend as much time with you to make up for it though if you need it. I never feel rushed.

My family and I went to Dr. Dao for a while before realizing our health was not as important as our money. After switching doctors all of our health improved and we do not have to visit the doctor constantly for tests and we do not need to constantly switch medications and come back for checks and rechecks.

Being in healthcare myself, I can be a difficult patient at times. Dr. Dao has given me thorough, thoughtful, compassionate care. She has also been very open to exploring how best to work together, given her part-time schedule and my needs as an older woman with a complicated health history. I have been very impressed by her caring and people skills, taking time to communicate openly, fully with me. Also finding her staff friendly and helpful, as I develop relationships with them.

I, Anita, have been a patient of Dr. Lynda Dao for over 10 years. I had to relocate back to my hometown in 2015 which was 5 hours away. I had to get another primary care doctor since I did not know if or when I would be returning to Smyrna and the Metro Atlanta Area. Well, I began to have health problems and was in dire need of a primary care physician. I finally arranged a new patient appointment with the doctor and was soon there for my appointment. I went to two appointments with this doctor and was so very miserable each time. This new physician made little eye contact with me. I felt rushed because I felt that he did not take the time to listen to me and thus I longed for the bedside manner that I was accustomed to getting from Dr. Dao & her staff. In fact, she allows me to show and tell her of my symptoms. She makes eye contact and appears to ingest every word stated. Then, Dr. Dao begins to ask questions to pinpoint accuracy of what I stated. She is so thorough and therefore… I trust her completely. If there were more physicians who have her care and concern, then our health care system would certainly Rank #1 in the World. I thank her so many times for being my DOCTOR but I also see her also as my FRIEND!

Works part-time and, therefore, impossible to get an appointment on short notice. Long waits beyond scheduled appointment times. Makes you come in (and pay the co-pay) for prescription refills. She makes the effort, but she seems, in my opinion, to overtreat---requiring more tests and follow-up appointments than necessary. Unfortunately, I don't trust her judgment.

I really like Dr. Dao, however the office staff is less than qualified. I have been trying to make an appointment to see Dr. Dao for the past two months to get a physical and immunizations to attend grad school and the incompentent staff there cannot get it together. After the third attempt and being promised a call-back the same day, regrettably I will need to find a new PCP. This should not be so hard to accomodate.

I had chose Dr. Dao based on her previous reviews. I was very disappointed in the care that I received. She tells all her patients to communicate to her through the portal and she will respond. I sent her several messages as well as left a message with her medical assistant. When she did respond ; she did not have a resolution to my health concerns. I take my health very serious but obviously she does not.

Dr. Dao is the best doctor I've ever had. She really cares about my condition. She shows interest in my progress by listening and advising me. I hope she's around for many years to come.

Dr Dao is an awesome i mean awesome dr I do not mind waitin to see her because she makes me feel comforable and she spends time with her patients and has much heart and concern she is the best to me and my family

Dr. Dao is my favorite all-time doc.She's young, friendly, and smart. Waiting room times are usually better than other doctor's offices.This doctor actually gets to know her patients. She listens.
