Dr. Lynn Elizabeth Byerly, MD

Dr. Byerly did a cataract surgery on my left eye 3 months ago. I was pressured into a multifocal lens with astigmatism correction to get me out of glasses. I see a blurred haze in a diagonal pattern across the middle of my visual field and a starburst pattern with spirals around every light, especially LED lights and with night driving. It's horrible. She continued trying to talk me into having the other eye done immediately afterwards. I cannot see clearly out of my left eye. Why would I want to do that to myself in both eyes? I was told she could laser the eye right in the office. That was not true. She later said she doesn't have that in the office. I was not informed of the visual disturbances that lens I paid $4000 for in cash, that I would encounter. Dr. Byerly then gaslit me, blamed my eye problem on anxiety then refused to fix the eye. I've had to pay thousands more to have another Opthalmologist fix my eye. Do not go to this office even for a simple eye exam.

She was very kind and did her job amazingly.

Dr Byerly saw me as a new patient recently. Her exam was very thorough. She is attentive to detail. Over the course of 3 visits in 6 weeks she and her staff performed several tests. At the second visit repeat of an abnormal test confirmed the abnormality, she made a diagnosis, discussed treatment options, and prescribed the treatment we agreed upon. She spent plenty of time explaining everything very well in terms I could understand. She scheduled another follow up appointment to confirm the treatment was successful. By the third visit my prior medical records were available and she thoroughly reviewed them with me. I have another appointment in several months to confirm that the treatment is still appropriate or if additional intervention is needed. I have a problem that is a true threat to the vision of one of my eyes. I am thankful that I found a physician as capable as Dr Byerly.

Yesterday was my first appointment with Dr. Byerly. I have a number of eye issues. She took the time to go over each one thoroughly with me after she conducted a number of tests. She not only answered all of my questions, she gave me additional information that was not on my list. She was highly recommended by my physician, Dr. Gary Swain. I highly recommend Dr. Lynn Byerly.

Was told visit would cost $235, when I paid it was $295, because to ran additional tests. All Dr Byerly did when she came into the room was write out the prescriptions for glasses and contacts, she didn't even check my eyes, just went with results of technician. Resulting in 1st pair of contacts being wrong, now 2nd pair I still can't see. Was told I'll have to pay additional $200 to have the Dr to see me again. She didn't "see" me the first time!

Had recent eyelid surgery. Very happy with the result.

I have been seeing Dr. Byerly for 8 years and can't say enough great things about her. She solved my dry eye problems and takes care of the glasses/contact prescriptions for the whole family. I highly recommend her to anyone.
