Dr. Madina Ekhsonovna Falcone, MD

I was referred to dr Falcone for thyroid eye disease. My first visit she never examined me she just kept looking at the computer and said to me ‘come back when you need surgery’, then she started to walk out the door. I had to call her back into the room and I was telling her I needed help, I couldn’t see I had severe double vision. She then said to me, ‘ this was just supposed to be a conciliation’, and she sighed like I was bothering her. I had a second visit that was no better than the first, she told me she was going to check out this and refer me to a rheumatologist. Well she never followed through. She actually never looked at my eyes! Just at her computer looking at old test results. At one point I told her I had a piercing pain in my eye, she shrugged and said ‘ oh probably dry eye’ I needed help and she brushed me off like I was making it up. I finally got to a doctor a Yale who said when she saw me’ you need surgery as soon as possible otherwise your eye muscles will be… permanently damaged’ Dr Falcone needs to treat her patients like equals. She is very condescending. She’s not an expert for TEDs.

She is a great doctor, who is very professional and easy to talk to.
