Dr. Mai Liu, DO

I am pleased to write with an unqualified recommendation for DR. LIU. He is compassionate, communicates effectively, sets realistic expectations and is nothing if not thorough. While sporting a wealth of medical knowledge and allowing patients to benefit from same, he is not shy to incorporate other medical professionals into a patient's treatment. I recommend him highly and without reservation. He, nonetheless is part of a practice and probably doesn't have sole decision making about the staff, which could use improvement.

Dr. Liu and his staff are the kindest, efficient and knowledgeable staff around. I highly recommend them.

I have always had a great experience with Dr Liu. I would highly recommend him to anyone that has lung issues.

Horrible physician he shows no care at all, and gives his back to you when you are trying to speak with him of serious health concerns. Then in and out of the hospital with serious infections, due to lack of concern from Dr. Liu not running the necessary tests in his office, or sending you to the needed specialist if he unable to figure out what is wrong, but your well being goes on deaf ears with Dr. Liu. What a disgrace for a physician to behave in that type of manner, and his staff is no better with their rude attitudes at times if you ask to many questions, or ask for copies of your medical records. How unprofessional all around from that office even when one has to go seek medical attention at the ER, and Dr. Liu doesn't return any calls, or visits in the ER he sends an associate from his office that knows nothing of you, and then comes to your bedside with an attitude of what brings you to the ER? With all said and done I am no longer a patient of Dr. Liu, or with the… other physicians associated with him from his office. If you want a doctor who doesn't give you his undivided attention (sitting with his back facing you), or not a bit of care for you then best of luck to you being his patient.

Dr. Liu is an excellent diagnostician with a wonderful caring bedside manner. Greets you in his waiting room promptly and spends more than enough time with his patients. Always follows up with a phone call if need be. Recommended.

He was very friendly and thorough; he called personally with test results.

Dr. Liu is caring with a great bedside manner, he even called me with Blood results on a Sunday to let me know they were normal. He is an excellent Doctor. The staff is courteous and friendly. I have referred many family members and friends to him.
