Dr Basit saw my grandmother during a routine check up, he spent less than 10 minutes in the room after we waiting over an hour from her appointment time to see him. My grandmother asked him if she was ok as he was rushing out the room and he said bluntly, no, and then walked across the hall to another patient room. She has a weak heart and a-fib. What a joke, he should be ashamed of himself for disregarding anyone especially a geriatric patient, the population which usually need more time to process and understand things!

My son was seen by this doctor several times and never diagnosed w anything. He wanted to experiment on my son without any proper testing!! Every time my son went to the ER he was sent home w a low pulse of 40. The staff at memorial sugar land was the worst we’ve ever encountered. Anyone working for Dr Basit should take more classes on how to treat and communicate their patients!!! I will never recommend this Dr to anyone let alone the hospital...very rude and unprofessional...they will let u die and document everything because Dr Basit and his staff are liers!!!! Go to the medical center if u need any kind of help just stay away from Dr Basit

I am a 25 year old female who was in icu too many times last year after having a baby.l have some really crazy heart stuff going on. Every doctor lost faith except for dr.basit. he gave me courage and he came up with a plan tthat saved my life. Thank u dr u are so smart.
