Dr. Malathi Kolipaka, MD

This is the worse doctor to ever have a license. She doesn’t care about anyone but herself she wouldn’t even help me get my travel reimbursement for my surgery I had to travel for.

I have been seeing Dr. Kolipaka for 3 to 4 years now at the oakwood VA clinic. At each visit she has always been very courteous and attentive. She asks many questions as to my health and daily life. I have sometimes had my wife in tow and they carry on a great conversation as to my health and family endeavors'. Also has done a great job of follow up to my inquires after the scheduled appointment. On a scale of 1 to 5 she rates a 10...

Unfortunately the VA assigned dr Kolipaka to me as my primary doctor. She couldn't care less about my health. She doesn't get up from her desk, just sits typing. She asks a question but ignores the answer and usually interrupts me answering. She has no idea what's going on with my health after I've been seen....no, after I've been in her office, she never looks at me.... for over a year and a half. Absolutely horrible non-caring doctor!

kolapaka , to me seems caring but her support team is unprofessional and unsupportive to her, linda is to me, the worst , but , who is perfect ?

I went to see this doctor after losing 10 pounds and not being able to sleep. I was grieving the loss of my brother, 3 months prior and a move to Georgia from out of state. I was looking for something to help me sleep. Whatever the opposite of compassionate is- describes this Doctor. She treated me as if I were a drug seeker. I gave her the name of a drug I had taken 7 years prior for a brief period and it helped me to sleep. She offered no alternative medication but instead lectured me about why she would not prescribe this certain drug. I gave up and mentioned at the end of the appointment I needed a refill on my birth control pill and she asked me- no joke- if I wanted to get cancer. I left the office in tears. Can't believe I actually had to pay for being so mistreated. I have found myself a new doctor and new clinic.

This is NOT even a doctor. She's rude and has terrible bed side manners. Extremely unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. She couldn't even locate my lymph nodes....such a waste of a trip and wish she could be banned. Does not deserve the title of a DOCTOR!!!

This has got to be the worst doctor I have ever been to by far!!! She had no clue what she was doing. Did not explain anything nor did she even know how to explain it. She didn't even prescribe me the right meds for my condition and I had to go to another actual doctor immediately leaving her office and would have not been diagnosed at all if I had trusted her. If you care at all about your health you will NOT trust this lady!!! Her staff is the only thing average thing about this office.
