Dr. Malcolm Ingram Goodchild, MD

I was scheduled for surgery with Dr. Malcolm Goodchild, and before he could even start the surgery, my blood pressure went dangerously low due to the anesthesia. Dr. Goodchild did the surgery with limited time that he had, due to my blood pressure. The compasssion and concern after the surgery; during my follow up visit showed there are still doctors that will be honest with you about your condition and procedure. I had experienced this before with a previous surgery, whereas Dr. Goodchild told me to take my medicine before surgery, I was told by the nurse that the anesthesia doctor said not to take it, so I didn't. I am looking into getting a medical bracelet because of the honesty of Dr. Goodchild in telling me about my operation. It is not either of the doctors fault, because noone can tell you how your body will react during surgery, but now that it has happened to me twice, I feel it is something that needs to be known in case I am not able to express my medical experience.… Dr. Goodchild is not very talkative, but I appreciate his honesty and concern as a doctor.
