Had him years ago, I moved away and moved back and wanted to schedule an appointment, and they said that he won't take back former patients....ridiculous...

I was a patient of Dr Wright for over 15 years. Many of my co-workers were also patients, we all loved him. He is very straight forward, will not sugar-coat! He is caring and work with his patients to find the solution. Scheduling appointments was easy and waiting time was minimal. I had to move because of my job. He and his staff are the only reasons I miss Brunswick, GA. And he does have a great sense of humor.

Ifirst saw Dr. wright in an emergency, covering for my regular internisst.I had atrial Fib, He made the correct diagnosis, placed my on the proper medicine and came in on Sunday to follow up and explan exactly how to take and how they would affect me. Very courteous, precise, informative and a very caring bedside manner. A sense of humor and knowledge too! What more can you ask for? Not looking for a partner just an MD with intelligence.

I was a former patient of Dr. Wright. He is very arrogant man, and over bills his patients. He does not like you to ask questions or ask for second opinions. He tries to control all your care even if you have specialists he wants to change your treatment plan with them. If you do not comply with him then he will send you a letter that he can no longer be your physician.My experience with him was not pleasant, and I have suffered greatly because of his care. If you are unsure ask around the medical community he has a reputation that is not glowing I just found out too late.

Old fashioned, straight talking doctor. Doesn't sugar coat remarks. Doesn't treat patients like idiots. Will spend as much time as necessary to explain diagnoses and test results and he will yell at you if needed. He also has a good sense of humor.

Even though he seems to really dislike socialized medicine his manner and scheduling are those of someone who was in that system and can't seem to break away from it. The last 2 times that I went for my annual I arrived 15 minutes early, as his staff requests, then waited for over an hour and left. Then I switched primary care providers and those hassles stopped.
