Dr. Manjari Kumar, MD

This was a horrible experience. She assumed I was an addict of some sort, was interruptive, and like the last post, wanted to admit to a hospital! What the heck is going on with this? Is she unsure of herself? She kept saying everything would be a disservice.. ok, no thanks!

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor! Dr. Kumar sent me home on a medication she said she didn't intend to keep me on (which made me question why she would've given it to me in the first place) and also diagnosed me (after one meeting) with an eating disorder, alcoholism and a mood disorder! Then she said she thought I should be checked into a hospital for 24 hour surveillance! My issues really aren't severe at all so this was a shock to me! The only good thing is that now I have an excellent doctor who diagnosed me with depression (not nearly as bad as everything Dr. Kumar diagnosed me as!). Proceed with caution!
